Q: what is the radius of the bar that contaccts the strings?

According to the Paige website, the radius on the Standard 6-string capo is 16".

Q: Does it have the catch as shown? I’ve ordered 2 of these and the catch is different, like a c hook.

Not sure I fully understand your question. I recently purchased this capo (and one just like it about a year ago) for my acoustic Martin and my Blue Ridge 160 acoustic guitars. These are much easier on the finish of the guitar's neck. I have no idea if these will work on an electric guitar but they are definitely made for acoustics.

The inside width (at the very top) of the one I purchase and use is 2 inches exactly. It narrows to 1and 3/4 inch as you move down to the inside rubber stopper. I play a Taylor GS Mini and it works fine for that. As I slide the Capo up the next (toward the body)it goes as far as the 8th fret comfortably. With full body (larger) guitars it could be an issue. The capo is of good quality and easy to adjust. Perhaps an in store sales person (who plays) could advise you more accurately than me.
