These socks are super comfortable, durable, and fit really well. The cotton feels great, and they look good too. Overall, an amazing pair of socks for hiking or working all day if you can afford them.

I cant say enough good about these. Feet stay dry and warm but not overly hot. They do make heavier socks for those really cold outdoor jobs etc. Pricy butvwell worth it. Buy the FULL CUSHION, this just means the top and bottom of your feet have cushioning. These are midweight and crew not microcrew.

Very high quality, long lasting socks! We don't get any blisters on long hikes with these socks and fewer issues with athletes foot. They are good in hot and cold weather.

Merino wool is amazing at keeping my feet dry and thus warm. These socks are pretty thick. But most importantly, it’s the first time in my adult life that I haven’t gotten cold feet in the winter due to my feet sweating.

These are my favorite socks of all time. They are high quality, very comfortable and don’t seem to wear out. My first pair is a year old old and it’s like I just took them out of the packaging. As a 33 year first responder they are the best pair of socks I have ever worn. I wear them at work and off duty and my feet thank me for it every day. These are the only type of socks I own. A la fecha he comprado tres de diferente modelo y el último me corta la circulación por lo apretado que está en la parte alta del empeine. Por lo anterior, recomiendo en particular este modelo.

I love good socks... but they are hard to find. At age 50, I find the more products I finally find and fall in love with, the more the companies who make those products I love, stop making them! A perfect case in point is the "Barn Sock" by Smartwool. As seen in the picture attached, I've had these socks for over 3 years and they still look like new. They are warm in the winter, cool in the summer and by far the best & most comfortable sock I had ever worn, so of course, they have stopped making them. Enter the Darn Tough 1405. I read through the reviews and for the most part, the masses seem to love this sock. There were even several reviews who indicated that they had worn the sock for several days in a row. With mostly good reviews, I decided to buy 7 pairs. Shipping was the fastest I have had yet and... WOW... these socks are as good as the Smartwool Barn Sock and then some! They are extremely comfortable to wear, lots of cushion and wash well. I wore them for a week and promptly ordered 7 more pairs. I will most likely buy in bulk all winter long as once again, I have found a fantastic product so there is a good chance it will be discontinued soon... LOL! Sizing: I wear a 10.5 US shoe and purchased the Large (10-12). I find they fit perfectly although I wonder if someone with size 12 feet would actually be able to wear a Large. I also purchased a medium pair for my wife who is a size 9 women's but she found them to be a little big. Value: In my opinion, value for the money is there. I did feel the socks were exceptionally expensive, however, when you consider that these socks are guaranteed for life, it takes a lot of that sting away. Darn Tough has found a customer for life here in New Brunswick.

Work a blue collar job and typically trail hike 3-5km after work and 10-15km a day on weekends. Absolutely love the cushion and the fit! Keep your feet a regulated temperature as well as work in conjunction with your work / hiking boots to keep your feet comfortable. Will never buy conventional socks again. Completely worth the money! Complete and utter game changer!

Really like these socks so far. I haven't had them long so I don't know how they will last but they are very comfortable and my feet don't feel pruny from sweat at the end of the day. I really like how they have no seems big bonus for inside work boots with a a steel toe.

Okay, so the field of conservation/NRM work is a very small field here in Australia, but every conservation worker has their personal favourite brands for PPE be it work boots or pants. This is my choice for work socks. Yes, they're expensive for a single pair of socks. Yes, they're wool. But, would you spend fifty bucks on your mattress you sleep on 8 hours, 7 days a week? No! You should invest sensibly in your comfort and support. Socks are no different for me. These bad boys keep my feet remarkably dry, and I never feel too sweltering in my work boots with them on. Only downside is that wool LOVES to collect grass seed, sticks, and plant debris that finds its way into your boots, so make sure you treat them with care and follow the washing instructions to the letter. I'm never going back to RSEA for a new pair of socks. These puppies are the bees knees.
