Is there 2 or 4 stand off? One description says 4 and another description says 2.

What is the minimum thickness of material that will work with these?

Not quite so sure the min...they close tight so I would imagine whatever you throw at them....I used 1 set on 3mm and 1 on 4.5 mm. Both worked real well.
