very nice and attractive
Very attractive and functional. I also like the round back plate. We have another Delta tub/shower trim in the hall bathroom and it has a somewhat square back plate, but the rough valve in the wall is not perfectly level, so the plate is just a little crooked - and that drives me crazy. Go round.

I recommend Delta to my customers
I have installed hundreds of these valves through out my plumbing career. I always recommend Delta faucets first because of the ease of repairing them and the longevity for the money.

Requires a cheesy plastic spacer
The opening in the trim plate is too small to fit over the nut on the Delta rough-in valve so you have to use a spacer (RP42414) that costs an extra $25. The spacer goes between the trim and your shower wall so it's going to show. The spacer is plastic painted to match the trim - how cheesy is that? Do you really want an expensive piece of painted plastic behind this nice piece of trim?
