Great for those not ready to "make the switch" from Apple/Android
HOW TO USE APPLE IPHONE 5 SIM CARD WITH ANDROID As an avid Apple user and a true lover of all things iPhone, I could not imagine using anything non-Apple related. There was a constant opinion shared around me from many Android users and their pure satisfaction about the usability and performance of the Android platform. I couldn't deny that I was curious to switch over to what many would say is "the other side." To my surprise, I received a LG G2, White 32GB (Verizon Wireless) phone for my birthday. As soon as I received it I was a little bit hesitant to switch over to Android. Not knowing if I was going to like the Android platform I didn't want to make the commitment of switching out my current Apple SIM card. Apple's iPhone 5 utilizes the Nano-SIM and the LG G2 utilizes the Micro-SIM. Stuck in the middle of each "side" I wasn't quite ready to make the switch. Not knowing if it existed, I looked for an adapter that would allow me to keep my Nano-SIM card while testing out the Android device. To my surprise after a search on Amazon I came across the MediaDevil Simdevil 3-in-1 SIM card adapter kit (Nano / Micro / Standard) TESTING IT OUT: Thankfully for Amazon Prime I was able to order the Slim Devil Adapter Kit and have it in two days. If you haven't tried Amazon Prime yet you are definitely missing out. They have a current 30 day free trial (Start Free Trial Now). During the first week I switched back and forth from using my new Android and my iPhone and this adapter kit made switching super easy. It worked perfectly and had no issues. I have now had the SIM adapter in my Android for over 5 months and have had no issues. I guess I secretly want the ability to switch to my oh so beloved Apple iPhone. In switching back and forth during the first week, I was worried that removing the nano-skin from the adapter would diminish the use of the sim card and ultimately force me to visit the local Verizon store, it was actually quite simple. This is a great solution for anyone that isn't quite ready to "make the switch" or simply for those that may switch between phones for various reasons. HOW TO INSTALL SIM CARD: 1. Using the included tray ejector pin you first remove the Nano-Sim out of the Apple iPhone 5. 2. Carefully remove the SIM card from the iPhone. 3. From the kit, grab the correct adapter for your new phone. In this case it was the Micro-Sim for me. 4. You will notice that there is a clear protective layer that should be removed to create a sticky substance to adhere to the SIM card. 5. Carefully place the Nano-SIm into the Micro-Sim adapter. 6. Install in new phone.

Great SIM adapters! Can finally use my Lumia 1020 as needed!
I needed a SIM adapter to be able to switch my SIM cards between my Lumia 1020 and 1520. Since the 1020 sports a 41MP camera, it takes beautiful pictures and sometimes may be needed for that reason. I also didn't want the burden of carrying two phones. Since my 1520 took a nano SIM and my 1020 used a micro SIM, I needed to find a SIM adapter that would allow me to switch between phones. The MediaDevil SIM adapter worked very well in being able to switch between the two sizes. There's an adhesive back that allowed the nano SIM fit snug within the adapter. Since the adapter is flexible, it may look as if the nano SIM doesn't fit. The adapter can flex in order for the SIM to fit correctly. Also, this is a kit, sporting three different sizes and a SIM . That's good just in case I need to use the other two The only issues that I may come across is the adhesive being able to take a plethora of swaps and the minor flexing to fit the SIM in the adapter. Being that the nano SIM fits so snug into the adapter, the adhesive may not be an issue. Time will tell though. For the time being, I'm satisfied with this kit, and for the price it's a good buy. I'll update this post if anything comes up.

Works. DO NOT INSTALL ADAPTER WITHOUT SIM!
PRO TIP: DO NOT INSTALL THE ADAPTER WITHOUT A SIM! The sim contacts will catch on the open cavity and the sim tray will get stuck. It should REALLY say this on the package, I thought leaving the adapter in my phone would be a safe and easy storage spot. If you do this... Read below and use the strip to keep the sim contacts disengaged. I used the method below to save my phone! IF YOU SIM TRAY DOES GET STUCK: Get the media devil packaging, the package has a "window" of clear thin plastic. Separate it from the envelope and cut a strip of this thin clear plastic slightly less than the width of your SIM tray. Gently slip this into the jammed tray, there will be 2-4 clicks/bumps, once fully inserted the sim tray will slide out. Do this on the side of the sim with the gold contacts, if you don't remember, keep trying both and wiggle the plastic deeper into the tray. With patience and careful force you can likely release all the sim leads/contacts that have jammed. DO NOT PULL FORCEFULLY. You will break things as other reviewers have done. PRODUCT REVIEW: They're pretty nice, they are CNC machined so the fit is precise. I wish they had considered the above situation... Included a tool or a sim tray guard so the adapter could easily be stored with the phone. Anything this tiny is scary to store.

Easy to use; worked great for testing SIMs in older iPhones
WHY I BOUGHT THIS * Needed a way to move SIM cards around old phones * Needed a SIM tool since I lost mine * Had a lot of positive reviews on Amazon I had several iPhones that I needed to sell on another service, but I didn't have current SIM cards to test in them after unlocking them. I had a nano SIM from an iPhone 5, and I needed it to work in 2 different sizes from older models. This really helped with that. PROS * Sim tool - I looked in every iPhone box that I had and could not find the SIM tool that I thought came with each phone. I can only thing that the Apple store employees kept the SIM tool after upgrading me to new phones. * Sticky backing on each adapter - The biggest concern I had was that the nano SIM would slip out of an adapter and get lodged / stuck in an iPhone. The sticky backing on each adapter did the job and prevented any issues of this kind. CONS * Sticky backing needs care to be reusable - Keep the white plastic cover for the sticky backing in each adapter. If you don't, you'll get dust / junk on the sticky backing for the SIM card and it might slip when moved around.

I still have my first sim devil adapter kit in which the nano sim adapter (only adapter I have used) is still working great desp
PROS: will admit that a rarely will give a review and usually will if anything just give a simple number of star rating and. Couple of words. But I felt compelled to WARN other buyers against trying to save a dollar and go with a nearly identical off brand name sim. I still have my first sim devil adapter kit in which the nano sim adapter (only adapter I have used) is still working great despite alot of use. Think about it like this: do you want to have a phone that is more than a glorified IPod? If so PAY THE EXTRA FEW DOLLARS, STOP LOOKING AT OTHER ADAPTERA AND BUY. The product works, it is sturdy, it shipped out fast and reliable, and most importantly you can be sure you won't have to spend hours trying to get the sim adapter out because when u pushed the adapter and sim in your phone only the adapter went in and the sim card didn't leaving the adapter literally jammed into my sim port stuck. I fix phones for a living so I did manage to fix it but if I didn't have any phone experience this would have marked the end of my phone. Unless you want to have that happen buy this brand and not off brand cheep alternatives. LOVE THE PRODUCT. CON: I wish I could buy one sim devil kit that had three nano adapters rather than having to buy three sim devil kits to get the three adapters I need and especially trash the rest. For some reason I've noticed this with many sellers but I figured I'd mention it so maybe they can sell that. I'm sure many people would be very happy of sim devil did that.

SIM Adapters and Candy
Ordered this on a whim knowing that I didn't really need it, but it certainly helps when taking the nano-SIM from an iPhone 5 and loading it into a Galaxy S5. The adapters are a brilliant, perfect fit with no wiggle room for the SIM card to come lose or pop out. To further help prevent this, the MediaDevil Simdevil also has a super-tacky adhesive strip on the inside where the SIM card sits helping to secure it without fear of the SIM card dropping out of it. They've also included a little tool for removing the SIM card from your iPhone 5! Overall this little kit was more than I thought it would be. It's higher quality, it's exceedingly functional and they sent me two pieces of taffy (yes, candy! and it was delicious!) inside the mailing envelope! Great product and tasty candy? Oh yeah! Customer for life, Media Devil, thanks for the quality product and the customer care!

Includes CRITICAL adhesive-backed "safety" film so SIM won't fall out.
Unlike some SIM adapters, this one is made with a clear plastic sheet covering the SIM hole. This keeps the SIM in place during insertion and removal into and from your phone. I wouldn't recommend re-using an adapter (although you can reuse your SIM itself indefinitely) since the results of the SIM separating from the holder are too serious - you might bend or destroy the spring-loaded SIM connecting pins in your phone, if your SIM falls out of another adapter. And that's where the adhesive comes in - unlike other adapters, the adhesive keeps your SIM in place, even when turned upside down. The adhesive SIM stabilizer panel makes it easy to insert and remove your SIM whether you have a "push in, no tray" design SIM slot, or a "carrier tray" design SIM slot as on an iPhone. The adapter, with your Nano SIM in it, can be freely removed from either style SIM slot, and moved between phones. This multi-size adapter set comes with Nano to Micro, Nano to Standard, and Micro to Standard sizes. You will probably only be using the Nano (Apple 5 and up) to Micro (most Android and Windows phones) adapter. You can remove your SIM from one size adapter to another size adapter - it's not a permanent adhesive, and the maker claims multi-use - but I don't think it's worth the risk of re-using an adapter. This kit is cheap. A SIM slot repair is expensive, maybe more cost than the phone. Two MISSION CRITICAL observations: * Don't EVER insert an empty adapter into a phone (this or another one)! A phone's SIM slot has "spring" connectors that rise up to contact the SIM card when you insert it. These "spring connectors" generally look like an antenna or feeler, and get stuck in an empty SIM adapter's open area. You won't be able to remove an empty adapter without breaking the spring connectors. * Be sure to remove the small paper square inside the otherwise clear SIM "window" so the SIM won't rise up over the lip of the adapter. This also exposes the adhesive so it can do its job. QUALITY OBSERVATIONS: The adapter is the right thickness, perfect match to my phone's SIM tray. The plastic "safety sheet" doesn't create any thickness or evenness problems. The hole is perfectly sized for a "factory" (as opposed to "home-trimmed") SIM card. Home trimmed SIM cards are NOT recommended; I'm not willing to take a chance, personally. If you DO use a home-trimmed SIM, it is critical to make sure it completely fills the hole with no gaps on any side, else a connector might get trapped in the gap. Finally, the top-rated reviewer suggested McGyver'ing a thin plastic shim to remove a stuck adapter (if you somehow insert an empty one or with an undersized SIM card). This will probably work with a "push-in" SIM slot. It won't work with an iPhone or other "tray" style slot, because you won't be able to disengage the tray enough to slide a plastic sheet underneath.

Run - don't walk - away from this terrible product!
THIS PRODUCT PERMANENTLY BROKE MY PHONE. Run - don't walk - away from this product. I purchased this product to use a nanoSIM card in my microSIM slot. I had previously used a different company's adapter to much success, so I knew both the nanoSIM card and my phone were fully able to handle an adapter+nanoSIM. Upon inserting the nanoSIM with this MediaDevil product, my phone did not recognize the SIM card - disappointed, I gently pulled the SIM card tray out, fearing the worst - and my suspicions were correct. My phone no longer read ANY SIM card. This adapter permanently broke the SIM slot of my phone, which is now a $700 paperweight. Only after I contacted customer support did I see the 50+ other reviews stating this device broke their phones as well. To summarize: successfully used a SIM card with a competitor's adapter and phone. Tried same SIM card + same phone + MediaDevil adapter and it broke my phone. Customer support was TERRIBLE. They claimed no liability, asked for pictures to try to poke holes in how I used their product (I indeed sent pictures and they immediately stopped discussing it from that angle...). I asked them to repair/replace my phone (for $150 current market value, not the full $700), which is fair since their garbage product was the sole cause of my injury. They then accused me of trying to extort them and sent me lengthy emails warning me to not inform Amazon of their awful performance and to not give them a bad review. Do yourselves a favor and stay the heck away from these clowns. PROS: - Came on time... - Amazon acknowledged MediaDevil's poor product and refunded me the cost of product CONS: - Broke my phone and out $700 to buy a new one (got a refund of $6, but my phone is a paperweight) - Received threats from customer support (seriously????)

The perfect answer to not needing to port across SIMs
I'm using this following my previous phone needing a Nano SIM, and the new one a Micro SIM. Irritating as it is, I didn't want to have to request another SIM from my provider and wait for a port of my number, etc. This seemed an obvious answer. The principle's pretty simple: get your SIM, peel off the backing on the clear part of the adapter, push your SIM in and make sure it's firmly in and no major overlap or lip is present. Add to your SIM tray and hey presto, Nano>Micro (in my case) is complete. My phone has no problems reading the SIM and it fits perfectly into the SIM tray. Far easier than requesting a new SIM! Can't speak for the Micro>Standard but if it's anything like the Nano>Micro then it'll work fine.

Also musste ein neuer her.
