I ordered this because I wanted a basket with plastic feet that I could use in non-stick cookware without scratching it. It's great for that. But, it's kind of bulky and really doesn't fit in smaller pots. And then unfortunately, my husband accidentally left something steaming in a pot with the stove on "high" and came back to find it had melted (the water for the steam had NOT all burned out yet). Like I said, it was a good basket and it worked until we ruined it, but I'm not going to order another one at this time. I think I will try a different product that is less bulky and may be better to use in smaller pots for smaller steaming needs.

very cool, updated style "has ring instead of knob to lift' this way you can use a spoon or something to lift ....... best of all won't scratch your pots like the stainless steel ones......been using these for years , easy to clean and store, can't go wrong here ......

Well I just got this and used it immediately. I found it too tight for a regular pot so I used it in my big electric wok. This steamer opened all the way and my small potatoes steamed so well. So far so good! Hope it stands the test of time?

I normally love Joseph Joseph products but this steamer is horrible. First off, it didn’t fit in all pans and it doesn’t hold much. I could deal with that but it melted in my pan and almost ruined my pan. Took lots of scrubbing with Barkeepers Friend. Do yourself a favor and stick with the old school metal steamers.

This is the perfect steamer. It has a large capacity. I love that it is all silicone so that it doesn't damage the pots I put it in.

Reducing the number of metal leaves of the steam is a good idea. Having a removable middle handle is a sensible design choice. I purchased the stainless steel with silicon and I would suggest it is probably a better option than the plastic alternative Joseph and Joseph offer.

Die Ware ist sehr schön gestaltet mit eleganter Farbe. Es steht aus Stahl und einem kleinen Stück von Plastik. Es nimmt kaum Platz, wenn es gefaltet wird. Es kann multi funktionieren, als Küchensieb, als Gärhalte oder sogar Obstteller. Es gefällt mir äußersten. Nachdem ich dieses Produkt erhalte, warf ich mein altes Küchensieb schon weg. Die erste Lieferung hat das Produkt verletzt, hatte kein Problem gehabt, um die Ware zu tauschen.
