Is this compatible with the Vitamix 7500?

No this is not, it works only on their specific commercial series, I tried it in 7500 series this is triangle shaped and does not lock on to the 4 pins.

It does make prep. Of the beverages a little more quiet...

Is this jar compatible with the vitamix 6500?

I believe that you need the tall thinner container for the 6500. This container is wider and shorter. I bought it for a Touch & Go commercial blender. Go to vitamix.com for specifications. I think the 6500 is similar to the 6300. Hope this helps.
