Lasted a week. Failed with Acetone.refund was prompt.

These bottles are sturdy and strong. We use these bottles for our cleaning and tire shine products for all of our fire department vehicles.

Did not hold up. Leaked immediately.

Bought this for cleaning my machines in my toolroom shop (FYI if you do this, when you are done for the day you must re-oil your machine surfaces or they will flash-rust on you). I wanted to be able to spray acetone because it is an excellent degreaser, its cheap, virtually non-toxic (your body makes acetone naturally, and the LD50 is huge), and evaporates leaving no residue. Unfortunately, it also eats virtually every plastic around. This product is supposed to be specifically for spraying acetone, but as a word of caution, the manufacturer uses the same bottle for both the "standard" chemical resistant sprayer and the "acetone resistant" sprayer, so the bottles are marked "reorder #41789", which is the part number for the "standard" spraybottle. The bottle is HDPE, and it will definitely stand up to acetone service, but I initially started a return thinking I was sent the wrong item, since the acetone-resistant model is #41819. Before sending it off, I called the manufacturer and they clarified that the black handle sprayer is the acetone resistant one, and the "standard" is the grey with blue handle sprayer. As long as your handle is black, you're good to go.Performance wise, the action on the handle is quite nice. Firm trigger pull with no hanging or dragging, and no sticking at the end of the stroke before popping back to the outward-sprung position. I am very impressed with the spray pattern as well: very nice misting, no odd drops like you get with the el-cheapo bottles. Although the pump volume may be ~3 mL, it lays down such a fine and even film that the acetone evaporates really quickly, faster than I was expecting. If you prefer, you can wind the nozzle out in order to make it more of a squirtgun than mister.I haven't had them long enough to see how durable they end up being (the bottle will be fine, the seals in the pump mechanism only time will tell), but my only immediate criticism is you have to buy 6. That plus I don't have the longevity data prevents me from giving a 5 star rating. I really only wanted one, but they are definitely very nice sprayers, and I judge them to be worth the asking price on a unitized basis, provided they hold up. So if you need multiple or have friends that want to go in on a group buy, I strongly recommend. If you don't need ultra chemical resistance, then the price and inconvenience of buying 6 doesn't make sense.

Have bought the "standard" silver spray bottle for years and they work fine for most mild chemicals. This chemically resistant bottle is a complete failure. Within a day it loses vacuum. Then it starts leaking from the nozzle. Then it starts leaking from the handle. I've already had all 6 replaced once and the replacements are the same. DO NOT BUY THESE !!!!

Yes, sturdy. But it leaks from the nozzle every time I spray. Very disappointed, dollar stores’ $.99 bottles work much better
