Wide Mouth Rectangular Bottle

The product is outstanding. There’s really nothing quite like it so I have to buy it even though the price is very high for what you get.

I own multiples of this type of Nalgene container in the 8, 16, 32 and 64 ounce sizes. These bottles are thick walled, heavy duty and impart absolutely zero taste to any water or beverage stored in them. They also are easy to clean and dry quickly due to the wide mouth opening. In addition, they are virtually leak proof with just a firm turn of the cap - I have never had anything leak out of these bottles after years of use over many different applications. One of my bottles is about 15 years old and has seen near daily use, and other than a little yellowing of the plastic, it functions as new. I use them for anything and everything - for example, I use them for drinking water storage in my refrigerator. Where I live, I have to avoid tap water, so I have to buy / mix my drinking water (mine is a combo of mineral water, Arrowhead and RO). I also use them to store my coffee / espresso water, which is a different mix of water. Then, I use them for camping to hold juice, water and milk in my cooler. I also use them as an ice block in the cooler itself - I fill them with water and freeze them, and combined with ice and a Yeti cooler makes a nice combination to hold ice for a long time. These bottles are worth every penny, as they are virtually indestructible and will provide years of leak proof service. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for reading.

I love these rectangular Nalgene bottles. I've used the round ones for years, but the rectangular ones fit so much better in our rectangular cooler/car refrigerator. These are a great size and shape. There's no unpleasant odor. They don't retain flavors - we've used them for water, milk, grapefruit juice, and lemonade. They are easy to fill and clean with their wide mouths.

We bought various sizes of these containers to take with us in our cooler for a long weekend camping trip. We took things like milk, orange juice, homemade salsa, cucumbers in vinegar, liquor. Everything fit so much neater into our cooler because of the rectangular shapes of these containers. If we had taken the items in their original containers, we would have had half the room! None of the containers leaked at all, which was a first for us. Normally on our camping trips either food leaks out or the melted ice water in the cooler leaks into the food so it's a constant struggle to stay on top of that. This time everything stayed perfectly sealed and we didn't have to worry about it. They are very sturdy in that I wasn't able to squeeze them with my bare hands so I knew they wouldn't get crushed in the cooler. All in all, I am very pleased with this product and will be buying more for our next trip!

I bought four of these for this low price, which is an exceptional value. Nalgene products tend to be on the pricey side. The high quality materials deliver, and the wide mouth, at long last, made it easy and hygienic to wash the inside of the bottle thoroughly--something that OTHER manufacturers of drinking bottles in general really, really need to address (besides stuffing a laughably cheap bottle brush into the package). The one thing this Nalgene bottle needs, though (and why I took off a star) is better ergonomics because, despite its storage-friendly design, it's unwieldy to pour from, even with daily practice. It takes both my hands, and still it either dribbles or overshoots the glass. If the bottle came with either an attachable ewer handle or a pouring spout (which are not as easy to find as I'd hoped), this would make it so much better. Again, though, I can't say enough about the materials: quality! ***FOLLOW-UP: November 30, 2020 Using the same bottles I purchased four years ago, and they're still goin' strong: no criticisms to add (or take away). I chose today to do a follow-up because I accidentally dropped one of these bottle, full, from the top of a staircase, and it came to rest on the landing below without any consequence. Well made, this!

This is the best option if you’re trying to carry a lot of water without taking up too much space in your bag or trunk. The original lid works just fine, no leaks. I have no clue why the reviewer IanCaper is complaining about PET 2, they must not understand what that means. PET 7 is one of the least safe plastics because it actually has BPA. So you’re getting a safer product made of very high quality PET 2 plastic. This is a genuine Nalgene product and is one of the best high capacity water bottle on the market.

Got this to take things like iced tea on camping trips. The rectangular shape fits nicely in the cooler and the camper fridge. Worked great!

I ordered three bottles. Two were clean, one was covered in what appeared to be dried red stain, to all appearances either food coloring or blood. I have no idea where it came from. The package was clean, as were the other two bottles. None of the bottles were enclosed in plastic or any individual protective packaging, just a SKU label glued on. So it appears the bottle I received was packed in that unclean condition. Luckily the stain washed off readily, and I also disinfected it, and the inside was clean it was only the outside that was stained. Nevertheless, very very disappointing quality.

Ce flacon est le contenant qui me manquait pour le set de voyage idéal.

After having to go 'wipeable plastic' for school lunchboxes due to the whole Covid thing, I was looking for a reusable bottle that could be added to smaller lunch boxes. This bottle is just perfect! I wanted to avoid having to give the children cartons of juice everyday as they were the only option I thought would fit, but this little beauty (250ml size) has saved the day. It's good quality, easy to clean and (most importantly for using in a lunch box) it doesn't leak!! Even when tightened by the children after their lunch, whatever is left of their drink remains in the bottle, meaning the lunchbox and their bag stays dry. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
