Better than a saltwater dip for freshwater fish. Better than a freshwater dip for saltwater fish. Best part, no pH change from acclimation water (which is the most physically stressful part of acclimation for fish). I always use this when acclimating new fish to an aquarium. Minimizes parasite introduction to community tanks. Ran out and had a nasty ich breakout when I added new fish without using Hydroplex and the infection killed 2/3 of my livestock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for every fish added to an aquarium, especially saltwater.

Best stuff EVER! Haven't lost a sick fish that we've treated with this. I wish they sold it by the gallon.
