I have used the small ones of these before but ordered a big one as it was better value for money. I thought it would come as a big pack of small blocks but it is one big block so you have to rehydrate the whole thing.That said the product is great. As it’s dried there will be no fungus gnat larvae hiding in the compost which is what I don’t want for indoor plants and seedlings.Easy to use, easy to store and lovely to work with.

This is so much easier to carry and store than big bags of wet compost. Peat free too and it works great.Sometimes I use on its own and sometimes mix with my worm compost

Nice and light to handle other soil is too heavy for men. Bit expensive though.

Made a huge amount of compost to re-pot our houseplants. Just add water (we used warm to speed it up and about 6-7 litres in total to get all the compost nice and damp but not soggy!) and break it down as it softens. After a week of being re-potted in their new soil all the plants here are looking super healthy!

Easy to use -- just add about 5 litres of water (preferably warm) and you have lots of decent potting soil. My seedlings are doing well now!

Bought this as an addition to my normal compost but wanted to start some seeds and decided to use it because I had in on hand. Not a single seed germinated. It says on the packaging that it is suitable but it wasn’t a success for me. It works perfect as compost addition and I will keep using it for that. It expands significantly when in contact with water so make sure you mix it in the container that is at least fifty times its size.

love this compost, easy to make, just break off what you need. easy to store and unlike carry heavy bags of compost this is easy to use
