Houston, TX is extremely humid + full-time living in a RV is 100%
We're in about a 300 square-foot RV. After moving in we started to deal with all windows bed mattress in closet and drawers with condensation and it doesn't help any when I hang dry my clothes in the RV + 2 people 2 dogs & 1 bird 🐦 makes for a lot of condensation. You could tell it was starting to mold. So during my research I decided to ordered 2 I couldn't figure out which brand would work. The other 1 didn't come with a cord. So I did not expect to see a huge difference with only 1. so I sat it where it was to absorb up the maximum amount of moisture. This was my only option until I could get a other one. I really did not think it was going to make a dent in the condensation moisture. But to my surprise it has made a difference. that's why I went on & ordered a 2nd one of this exact model.. Every time I remember to check on it to my surprise it was almost full of water. I have been checking it almost daily definitely every other day a few times it even shut off on its own & was blinking. I noticed a difference when I would walk in to the RV and I tell myself I need to empty it out a little more often. It is very easy to turn on and pressing an arrow up or down to select the humidity level I like that we have a choice. One note though one time I could not get it to come back on I checked the cord everything was where it should have come on. So I stared to press multiple buttons I figured out press all 3 buttons at the same time did resets it and it started right up and has been working perfectly.. The 3 buttons I'm talking about is the Power button and the 2 arrow buttons up ⇑ and down ⇓ for the humidity control.. pressing them all three in got it working I've had to do this a couple times.

It helps in small spaces, but no miracles
Last fall when I took out my winter boots, there was mold growing on the leather, so I got this to help control humidity inside my closet. I have had it for several months in the fall and winter. It does some good, but the tank isn’t very large and it still takes a while to fill up. Summer will be the real test!I would not recommend this for anything larger than a closet or bathroom and keep the door closed for best results.I have this in my bedroom closet about 10’ from my bed. The noise level is good - like a white noise.I’m sure there are better options. I wanted something that wouldn’t be too power hungry because we will be moving into an RV soon.

Good looking design, quiet operation, but be aware of the limited capacity
It's a great looking, compact dehumidifier with a modern design. The vents are on both the left and right, and the front panel has a window to check how much water has collected. The fan is quiet; it does not disturb sleep. The top-mounted controls are intuitive, and the real-time hygrometer is useful for assessing the current humidity, as well as assessing the unit's effectiveness. The only drawback of this unit, as well as basically all Peltier-based dehumidifiers, is the limited dehumidification capacity. A compressor-based unit would gather many times more water every day. This unit is best suited for drying an individual bedroom, bathroom or closet, with the doors kept closed whenever possible. So when price, size and noise level are more priority than sheer capacity, this unit would be the right choice for the job.

Not good at all! Does not remove much humidity.
I have it in a small room 8ft x 10ft and on the 20% setting. Unit fan is loud and has ran for days and not pulled much humidity out of the area. I have smaller less expensive units that do better than this one. They don't have adjustment setting so I was looking for a unit that did. This does but doesn't appear to have any working properties. Not a good purchase. Not a good dehumidifier.

Nice while it lasted.
Dehumidifier seems okay, but the a/c adapter runs very hot. Because of that fact, the a/c adapter wears out fast. Good luck finding a replacement 13V DC 2.76Amp adapter! I did like the humidity sensor feature while it was new, however.

Mini Humidifier- a great performer.
I purchased this little unit to keep the humidity in a small office down. Our normal humidity here in Louisiana is above 80 per cent. This little unit keeps humidity in the office at 70rh or lower. Exactly what I need it to do. I dump the water once every three or four days. The humidifier is quiet and dependable, a definite keeper!

Works okay
I live in an area of the US that frequently experiences 80+% humidity. I bought this to help dry out a vintage camper that had a roof leak(repaired). I will say that this little Pinlo dehumidifier's operation has improved over time. Not sure why this would be the case. At first it could run a week and only have about an inch and a half of water in the tank. Now, without changing any settings it will fill the tank up in that time. I've double checked and the leaks are fixed. The humidity levels have not been higher overall than at first. The operation has just improved.
