Compact and highly functional
This is a great little power distribution board. I use it to provide power to light up buildings, etc. on my O gauge train layout. Perfect for powering led lights. Mountable or light enough to just let it hang by the wires (probably not optimal, but I do). Reasonably priced so you can buy several if need be.

Works Pretty Well
The quality ins't top notch, but with some paint and weathering, these will be solid lights. If you plan to connect this to a Tortoise to get the red/green thrown/closed effect, you will need a power supply for these. They do not wire directly in like a 2-leg LED does. Amazon sells the board, a basic DC power supply will complete the set. Honestly they are worth the purchase, once you get it everything you need to set them up right.

Control board
Great for my n scale train board. Used for all my lighting from street lights, building lights, and flickering campfire lighting. Using a computer 12volt/3.2amp transformer. The plug didn’t work so I hard wired it in.

I really like it
Setting up was easy, even for a beginner like me. I checked it with my husband’s voltmeter, and everything is perfect. Connecting two together was simple. I bought an AC DC adapter, and it fit fine. There is a light on the circuit board to let you know if it has current; make sure that light is bright, if it’s dim, you need to increase the input voltage. I set my AC DC at 6V input, set the tab on the circuitboard to 3V, and all the led lights lit up perfectly. This is a nice little kit. Recommend.

High Quality. Well designed. Nice price.
Just added 25 LED lights to my O scale railroad buildings. My Lionel ZW was maxed out with trains and accessories and I needed a power supply for the LEDs. Looked at another small transformer as well as the Woodland Just Plug system but decided on this unit. Man-O-Man, am I glad I did! This sweet little guy does it all. A Lionel 18 volt Fastrack wall outlet power supply plugs right into it perfectly giving you 2300 mA to distribute through 28 pairs of terminals. Several settings of output power, a dimmer control, a large assortment of connectors, and excellent instructional diagrams. All at a fraction of the cost of the other options. I will be getting more of these to gang onto this one for future layout expansion lighting.

Good control for safe LED current protection
Lots of lights can be attached and are protected from over current danger. The LEDs need to all be the same, all white or all red. Almost any wall wort will work, 5v will barely work but 6v on up work fine, same with batteries if used. This saves having to solder resistors to each LED. There is a dimmer pot but it causes the lights to flicker.
