Waste of money
The heat shield bolts don’t even come close to lining up. Had to drill all new holes and it still isn’t completely covered. The worst part is the place for the passenger o2 sensor is too far back so it won’t even fit in. Useless like it is. Had to order a 90 degree angle o2 holder. Only found out it was useless of course after spending the day getting the old one out! Even better now can’t even drive the car until I get the 90 in 7 days. Very disappointing and not satisfied at all! Don’t buy is my suggestion. Can’t get a refund unless I send it back. Ridiculous!!

This is not an OEM match, but it can be made to work, and much cheaper than OEM
Installed this on a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the 2.4L motor. To be clear, this is a true stainless-steel header, but it still has the built-in catalytic converters (cats). If you are purchasing this, most likely it is only because the cats need replaced, and this is a cost-effective option over OEM to get it done. The OEM header is thicker cast iron and has a heat shield. The heat shield is important for several reasons. The two biggest are: 1. It will prevent melting everything else down in the engine compartment like the O2 sensor wires, the upper radiator hose, and the janky-thin alternator wires that are close by on this DSM design. 2. It will help prevent peeling the paint and clear coat right off your hood from excessive heat. The quality of the item in general looks pretty good. However, the stock heat shield will not align to the flange bracket mounts, and it really doesn't fit over the cats at all on this replacement unit anyway. The unit didn't come with a heat shield, and since the OEM shield can't be used.. this is a concern. Not really sure why they bothered putting mounting flanges on it since it is not even close. Very unfortunate. Another issue is that that the stock header nuts that fasten the unit to the head will not work without modification. I had to use a cutting wheel and angle grinder to mill down the unused heat shield brackets on this unit so that the nuts will fit flush up against the header, and not get caught on the unused flange bracket mounts during the install. Also to note, the bottom side of the header is completely missing the lower mounting bracket capability, so now it is only supported by the head itself, and the fastening to the down-pipe. Not a showstopper, but it's not 'right'. It does come with the header gasket, the down-pipe gasket, and studs/nuts for connecting to the down-pipe. Different than OEM, but it works. Post install, no exhaust leaks.. but sure enough I noticed very high heat levels from the header tubes, and the covering on the O2 sensor wires was starting to liquify since there is no longer a heat shield. I ended up purchasing titanium heat wrap to wrap all the header tubes as far down as I could get it. This made a big difference on heat, and hopefully will prevent heat damage in the engine bay. The good news is, the upstream O2 sensors are easier to install/remove since you no longer have a heat shield in the way. The other good news, is that it will now pass emissions testing, so for the price compared to OEM, it was worth the effort, and I still rate the product pretty high despite the heat shield issues.Side-note.. in my case, I did some checking and found that third cat in the middle section of the exhaust pipe was restrictive/partially blocked and so I ended up replacing the rest of the exhaust (Another very cost effective DNA motoring unit) and eliminating the third cat and the resonator with straight pipe to a new muffler. Correcting downstream exhaust restriction issues will help eliminate excessive heat at the headers (among other things).

This is made wrong
The hole for the 02 sensor is too close to the pipe so that you can’t put the 02 sensor in it correctly. Therefore it won’t work for the car. This part was made wrong

Awesome
Perfect fit

Not exactly the same
The product did fit but is not the same configuration, the heat shield does not fit anymore. The O2 sensors not in the same spots. It does seem to be working. I did have a minor issue with the manifold gasket, the outer bolt holes needed to be widened. It’s was a lot cleaner than the one I replaced, I mean it just looked better, cleaner welds polished metal. So far so good. Will update if things change.
