Good Beanie
Good Quality and Lightweight. This is the 2nd time I purchased some of these beanies (~1.5yr ago). They fit me well and the first set have been through the wash several times and continue to be in good shape. I use them mainly in the Fall thru Springtime in the mid-eastern U.S. Also, wear under my helmet when bike riding during cold of winter to keep my head and ears warm.

Great thin winter hat!
This is exactly what I was looking for! I get hot kind of easily at times, and getting a typical winter hat is not practical for me because of this. I just decided to shave my natural hair off to restart growth and wanted something to cover my head and ears to provide wind resistance when outdoors for extended periods, and this hat provides that, and is thin enough to prevent getting too hot. It's definitely as soft as stated, similar to a great tshirt material! It's also a great fit, and would be comfortable if I happened to have a bigger head. I love the price, planning on buying a couple more already. I can't wait to see future colors/designs!

Perfect For Some, Too Short, Cold, & Thick For Me
Several years ago at REI, I purchased two very thin (borderline sheer), single layer, SmartWool brand black beanies that are perfection for this bald guy who wanted something thin for cool (but not cold) weather, and that went and stayed down over the bottom of my ears, even after springing back into shape.I lost one a few years ago, and the second one is beginning to get holes.SmartWool and Arc'terx both still make beanies that fit my needs, minus one trait: they now make them too short to stay down over my ears, after springing back into shape during movement. And they make others that are tall enough to stay down over the bottom of my ears, but are too thick for only cool - but not cold - temperatures. So I suspected I had finally found a good replacement here based on Amazon seller and reviewer descriptions. But when I got these, they feel too cold to me, due to not being wool. And they spring back above the bottom of my ears, thus allowing wind to blow up into my ear canals. And despite being thin, they are still double layer, which is too thick for my needs. I want ultra thin single layer wool that is tall enough to *stay* down over the very bottom of my ears. And that is not a slouch look beanie with a mop hanging down from the top. Not finding any that fit my need online or at REI.I'm going to try ordering a summer slouch cotton beanie now, as a compromise.

Very good
I liked that this beanie was thin, great for early fall and spring when the weather hasn't decided it's final temperatures. I believe it would be too cold for winter wear alone and too hot for summer period. Only thing I didn't like is the extra length that bunches up, if this thing fit like a helmet liner style it would be perfect to me, but it's still a great beanie and very comfortable.

Not for a man's size head-too tight
too tight for normal size man's head, a big headed man-not for his use, nice material and is perfect for winter sleeping but it is too tight on my gord.

Warm & Light
Absolutely love it. Worn it mountain hiking in -6°F and it truly does its job keeping you warm, but not itchy and uncomfortably hot! It protects your hair. And it has wicking technology so when you are sweating, it tends to dry quickly!

Cheap
Cheap thin material. I might wear it as a nightcap if my bald head gets cold in winter.
