MabefStudio (M/11D) Inclinable Lyre Easel, Natural

I have several Mabef easels of different types - and for good reason. This easel - as well as the others - are sturdy, of good quality materials, and are designed for regular use in the studio or atelier, by all levels of artists. This easel was easy to put together, with all parts accounted for. It’s versatile and inclinable, so you can always have your work perfectly vertical - or inclined for use with soft pastels or watercolor. One of my favorite easels.

just use instractions to put together, it is a great product, very suportive, easy to fold when not using it, do not take to much space.

I wish I could give it a 4.5 instead of a 4.This easel is sturdy, easy to put together (I had read so many reviews on how hard it was to put together or how many hours it took but it only took me 20 minutes, probably less if I could stand) & ya the instructions aren't written for a 5 yr old but it has clear pictures that really aren't that hard to figure out. Plus there's only 5 screws & 5 thread pieces. It's not that hard to figure out even without the instructions. Maybe I'm a handier person then I thought, but I'm not super craftsman savy so I believe most people would get this together lickidy split!The only thing that was a bummer is that someone dropped the shelf piece and the ring that you pull to move the shelf broke off so they just threw it all in the box. I know because the shelf was wrapped up & the ring piece was just loose outside all of the packaging in the box. This obviously is just what happened to my easel & I'm sure this is a rare occurrence. I'm going to call the company and ask if they'll send me a replacement lever. I'm sure there will be no problem. I'll let you know what happens

Great product. The instructions are very clear and assembly took me about 20 min.

Great product for someone who does not have a lot of storage space. This easel fits standard and extra deep canvases perfectly. I currently paint in my dining room, and this easel folds flat for easy storage so it's out of the way. Quality wood and metal finishings. The assembly instructions are confusing- it took some time to put together, but it looks great. Would make a nice display easel too!

I set my easel up after I received it 4 months ago. There was a missing screw for my M/11 easel screw B) 14,20,8 and screw C) 6 x 70 for the Canvas brush tray. I have emailed customer support and called the company directly and still no screw to hold the brush tray in place, so this product is unusable. I would suggest you buy it at a local art store.

I've used this easel - this is my second one ( I gave my first to my nephew) - for over 15 years. I work on canvases up to 24" x 36". I like that I can easily move it to different areas of the room.

Total pain in the butt to assemble but a great easel once you do! Good quality but the instructions are very hard to follow if they are included! I have worked for years in an art shop and have assembled a few!
