Old Spice Classic Deodorant Stick Original 3.25 Oz (Pack of 6)

There are a lot of different variations and scents in the deodorant world, but Old Spice is a classic that never gets old. As I am female and just bought this product for my husband, I can only personally testify to the very appealing scent of the product itself. It has a very light scent that can decrease throughout the day, though the effectiveness of the odor protection does not – oftentimes lasting through to the next day. As a testimony from my husband, he has used this product faithfully for over a decade and it has never let him down. Pertaining to this particular order, the product stands up to our particular standard. I opened the package as soon as I got it and all of the deodorants seem to be “fresh” and of quality, though we only took a seal off of the one that my husband intended to start using. The other five seem to be of the same quality but, if for any reason I find out otherwise, I'll be sure to edit this rating to say so. The price is also very reasonable for this. I know that you can sometimes find them a bit cheaper per-deodorant in stores, although in most cases the difference is just mere pennies. In my particular area it is often hard to find the original scent, so ordering this way is definitely more convenient.

Background For many years I wore antiperspirant thinking I needed to block the sweat. A few years ago I deiced to transition to a homemade deodorant and the Original Old Spice since I have always been fond of the scent profile. I would always buy the two pack when on sale, but decided to look on Amazon and found this six pack for a much better deal. I average about one a month, so I should get at least six months use out of this order. I added it to my subscribe and save for every six months and now I don't need to keep an eye out for when they are on sale locally. Use/Performance While it may not be sufficient odor protection for all day, manual labor in the heat, it works well enough for me sitting at a desk all day without clogging my sweat pores. It also goes on smooth and makes you smell and feel fresh. In the Summer and when I will be out and about, I start with a base layer of my homemade deodorant, let it dry, then put on Old Spice. It keeps odor to a minimum without clogging your pores.

I've been using this stuff forever. Seriously...for decades. I'm allergic to most deodorants because of the aluminum additives. This stuff lasts all day, and you don't smell like a musk factory. When they "improved" this product, they added aluminum. I was glad that they kept the "old stick formula," for us die-hard Old Spice codgers. Big Rudy

If you like the smell of Old Spice...it's been around forever...then you'll like this product. It's easy to apply and it works pretty well for me. I like the scent, which is clean and not overwhelming. The price point for this deodorant is about as good as you can find on line. You get more product, packaged nicely, for a lot less than some of the other name brands, which honestly, I haven't found work as well. There are lots of different scents you can get in this brand, but I just like the old original one.

Only deodorant my husband will use. Says it doesn’t cause dryness.

I've always liked the scent of this deoderant, used by a lot of men for generations (including my father and grandfather). Maybe for that reason it seems to be a scent ladies like on their men...(?) Though not an antiperspirant, it works very well. I avoid using antiperspirants due to the potential health effects of their aluminum salts. Old Spice Classic Deoderant is a pleasant, safe alternative.
