Lunchbox Perfect Welch's Mixed Fruit Snacks (0.9 oz., 66 pk.)fds

I love these fruit snacks! My duaghter loves them as well, but I wasn't expecting to like them. They have a great texture, chewy but soft. And they have great fruit flavors including: orange, three types of berries, and peach. They are very nutritious, since they are made from real fruit! They are also fat free and have no preservatives! The 80 pouch box has lasted over a month, with somebody reaching into the box every day. The individual pouches are on the small side, my daughter prefers to have two of them occassionally. I wish the box had a punch out front tray, that would enable easier access of the pouches, similar to a display in a store. Also, the combination of fruits in each pouch aren't even, with most pouches having alot of the peach & strawberry variety, and less of the other flavors. But this not a deal killer by any means!

I've never been much of a fruit eater but I bought these in order to change the way I eat. I decided I would eat one of these (less than) one ounce packages of fat free fruit snacks in place of chocolates or other fatty, sugary snack. These are very tasty and if they had not been my quest to change my eating habits would not have worked because I would not have made myself eat them. But, eat them I did and in a 6 week period of eating Welch's fruit snacks instead of chocolates and such, I've lost 14 pounds. I am thrilled. I do not consider myself to be on a diet, rather I have changed the way I eat to include these on a regular basis and only have chocolates and other desserts on rare occasions. I believe this is called a "life style" change. I did try the Kellogg's fruit snacks which appear to be similar to the Welch's. They are not. I was very disappointed in the lack of taste. Welch's has a nice rich taste to each little bite in such a way that I can clearly taste what each piece is supposed to taste like, ie strawberry, grape, etc. Buy some. They are better than you think.

My grandson got me addicted to this treat when he was 5 yrs old. He is now nearly 18, and always heads to my snack cup board when he visits, then chats with me while going thru several packages! I love the softness and taste of the Mixed Fruit flavor the best, every single night! I finally got smart and ordered the extra large box from Amazon instead of the smaller box from my grocery store. Last longer and cheaper too!

First of all, I want to point out that every single child I know- absolutely loves these things. I have no idea what makes them so friendly to a kid's pallet, but they go nuts over them. I also love that they're made with real fruit- gotta love Welch's! But before I go into extensive detail about how truly awesome these treats are, I want to explain why this is a 4 star review- not a 5 star. These fruit snacks are advertised to be relatively healthy. And although one of the first ingredients is 'fruit puree', many of the other ingredients include artifical coloring and corn syrup. Now, don't get me wrong- I love corn syrup! But it is an ingredient I'm not too keen on seeing in snacks. Gellatin is also present. Once again not a terrible ingredient, but not the healthiest either. Basically, when I saw 'Welch's' and 'Real Fruit' I thought- wow, these are great! But when I looked more closely at what they were made out of I realized that was a bit misleading. So, now that I got that out of the way- the positives! This box has 80 packages! For a camp counselor this is great! Each package has a small serving, but for an afternoon snack it's about the right size. Each package has a different variety. There are flavors ranging from orange to raspberry to strawberry to lemon to grape. Each one has a slightly different flavor- but they're all pretty yummy. The packages are easy to open. Each one has a little slit so even the smallest kids can pull and open it (although most toddlers still need a helping hand). These snacks are super age friendly! From two year olds to twelve year olds- every child loves these snacks. They're great for on the go, because they're not messy and they're bite sized. For little ones one package will keep them busy for ten minutes or so. You don't have to worry about dirty fingers or spills. A win win for any mother of young children. They're great for picnics, car rides, vacations, and even rainy days around the house. This bulk box is well worth the price. I think it's a great value, and the kids can't get enough of em'. I love Welch's, and these fruit snacks are just one more great product they've created for youthful tastebuds.

I buy these every time I go to USA they are very fruity and taste great I recently run out, so I went on line and bought these from Amazon, I use them for snacks when on cadet camps they are great when you have to walk a long way.
