Summer Escapes Filter Connection Hose Reducer Adapter

Ok, I am writing this to fill in the gaps that no one else filled in for me.1) This is a PERFECT adapter to get rid of your summer escapes pump and use another cheap INTEX pump. I did not go out and buy some killer INTEX pump, i just had an old cheap INTEX pump from years ago that worked that I wanted to use. Don't need to go buy a pump if you have an old cheapy that came with an INTEX pool! 2) UNLISTED SIZE FACTS: The summer escapes hoses that come on your summer escapes are 1.5 inch diameter and the INTEX pump had 1.25 inch INLET holes. This is important - allowed me to keep the big hoses (Summer Escapes) to use on the small inlet pump (INTEX cheap)3) PACKAGE FACT: The price is for 1 adapter, so in my case I needed 2 to reduce my two hoses down to the smaller, INTEX size pump inlets.

It's not what it says it is.

It did exactly what I needed It to! My old filter quit working and the new one didn't fit the old connections. It is tight enough that nothing leaked and works perfecty!

I was able to connect a larger filter to my 10' quick set pool. No leaks, no issues.

Fits well and creates a snug fit but when water pressure is added with a pump running it allows the hose to slowly slip out. I think the rubbery consistency of this product allows for the hose to slide off. I had to rig a wire around the clamp and back to the pump to keep it from slipping out. It is currently working and held by the wire.
