Class Project
Despite no matter how many of the reviews tell you it’s cheap assembly this is this is an absolutely great product. It does need a couple extra screws, though the stand doesn’t work so well, but it’s still pretty good. 4th grade class project

Very cool!! 😎
The media could not be loaded. A little hard to assemble BUT very cool and realistic I am a ww2 geek and this is soo cool and fun. I am very happy with it but it was kinda hard to put together BUT worth it if you buy it for a kid use adult supervision for assembly but very good and is more than I expected. :)

Not for young child
A bit tough for a child to assemble. Otherwise it’s a nice model of the Tuskegee Redtail P-51

Pricey for cheap material
The media could not be loaded. This plane was for my sons school project, the moment we got it we felt it was very light which was one red flag but the real problem is when we tried assembling it. The materiel was cheap, a lot of pieces were missing and or didn’t fit. It was like something you get from the dollar store! They sent us another one but its the same deal.

Poor quality
Pieces did not fit accurately. Material flimsy. After assembly, pieces would fall off.

Great CFI visual aid!!
I tried looking all over for a Piper or low-wing model to use as a training model, but I couldn’t find any except those small Hot Wheels toys- even Sporty’s website didn’t have anything. This fit the bill because not only was it a low-wing, but also a tail-dragger. Not to mention it’s a Tuskegee replica, and those guys were All-American real-life heroes whose story could motivate any Pilot! Simple to put together (needs model cement- not included) in about 10 minutes. It’s about 8” in length. The landing gear also extends and retracts. I’ll be recommending this to all my other fellow Flight Instructors!

Nothing very disappointed.
This is the biggest piece of crap model I've ever bought . This isn't a model ! This is a screw together peice of plastic ... none of the parts line up. The good thing about this "toy" is the painted or the stickers , that's it . I will definitely not purchase another new ray toy it's not a model...... You can get these products at walmart in the toy section . It's a model only in the sense of looking at it !!!!!!!!

Missing correct parts but included a life-lesson.
The box included two right-side elevators instead of a left and a right; they're not interchangeable, so it couldn't be assembled. The fits and flashing on the main gear and their doors on the one we got were such that they couldn't install and/or function. The mold parting lines on the stand were so far apart that they couldn't engaged the mating component on the plane. So... not great. My 10 year old saved up a lot of his $ for this ($21 after S&H and taxes) and was super excited when it arrived. So the contrast was pretty heart wrenching to watch. Actually, I guess it was a pretty good life lesson for him -and that's kinda worth $20 I guess.
