Works really well, easy to set up.
Bought to use when running as wanted to measure and track heart rate during exercise which this perfectly. Bought this as it pairs with my Iphone 6. I did consider a watch/chest strap alterantive, but this was the most economical as I only run once/twice a week and usally have the phone with me.Works really well, easy to set up and pair with phone (via bluetooth) I also like the Wahoo fitness app. I use Garmin Connect which isn't directly compatible, you just email the workout data direct from the Wahoo app and upload to Garmin Connect which I use to track my other workouts, mainly cycling which I use a Garmin Edge (I did contact Wahoo who advised Garmin won't play ball with Wahoo, for me its no biggy). The elastic strap is good quality and easy to adjust, I initially found it too tight as I was worried it would move about but stays in place, and there are rubber pads on the strap which help - dififcult to adjust mid-run so spend some time to get it comfortable before going out.I have also used whilst on the treadmill/rowing machine using the phone to display heart rate whilst running which was useful.Good piece of kit for tracking stats either during or post exercise.

it is great and does everything I need
As there are so many of these available, it took a while to sift through the reviews and product specs to see which one would suit my needs and still be reasonably priced. I partake in hillwalking, outdoor PT and bootcamps, as well as the gym. Not a cyclist or runner at all so a lot of the bells and whistles weren't relevant and that helped. Narrowed down to the fitbit charge HR, or this but after asking folks who had the fitbit, this was the one that came out on top. Having had it for just a wee so far, it is great and does everything I need, although i do have to have my phone within the bluetooth distance - given up the mp3 player and plugged my earphones into that instead. It's a great motivator as well as performance indicator. Easily adjustable chest strap, easy snap on and off (but still stiff so the sensor doesn't pop off). Comfortable and not noticeable when your wearing it and doesn't cause an issue with sports bras either. Syncs easliy to the iPhone 5s, and I've used it with Map my fitness/walk/hike, and strava, as well as the wahoo app. Easy to set up. Literally took 90 seconds. With all of that, for the money, well worth it.

Works perfectly with iPhone apps AND my Suunto Ambit 1
I have just replaced my original Wahoo Tikr belt after almost five years of heavy use. It had just started to give erratic readings or fail to pair. The new Tikr paired immediately and I have just got back from my first 9km hike using it.I will use primarily with a Suuntu Ambit 3 watch. The crazy thing is that it is impossible to get a Suuntu belt in anything other than medium, the price is higher than Wahoo, and connection with the watch was not as good as the Wahoo.ORIGNAL REVIEWThe Wahoo TICKR solved problems and saved me money. It paired with my devices immediately. It works perfectly via Bluetooth with fitness apps on my iPhone. It also works via ANT+ with my Suunto Ambit 1, and has solved the problem of loss of HR signal that was a constant problem with my Suunto HR strap. Neither the iPhone app or my Ambit have missed a beat since I started using the Wahoo. Now I don't need to replace my Ambit so the Wahoo has been a great investment.

I like my ticker
I like my ticker, I find very comfortable to wear, and it doesn't move around or fail once I've got it connected. It synced to my phone straight away.I have no experience of any other chest heart rate monitor and I'm by no means an expert in fitness at all. I bought this because my watch one was rubbish and an arm one I tried kept sliding down so I'd taken to guessing values, but as a bit of a perfectionist I wanted something more concrete to work with, this so far seems to give similar results for similar exercise sessions so it's at least consistent.I can not comment on it's accuracy as to whether the device is telling me the truth. Sometimes I feel like it's generous, BUT when I have compared results with online guestimation calculators, the results are always within a reasonable range. The reason I have dropped a star is because I feel like the strap is hard to adjust, it kept sliding back to the previous size but I'm not sure if I was being dense. Also I had a couple of issues regarding it not finding my heart rate straight away or losing it. Took it off and reconnected it a couple of times and then finally dampened my skin, then it stayed on fine for entire hour, just caused a few irritating restarts and obviously losing my heart rate zone every time I stopped to fix it. Did seem perfect again after than but I'll report back if it becomes a real issue.Comfortable, consistent, affordable as he'll, great connectivity.Tip, spend a few moments wearing it before you dive in to your workout just to make sure it has z read on your heart rate.Definitely seems worth the money especially if like me your not hard-core fitness and just want to know what you did. I'm a just dance/ fitness video /odd bike ride and walk person. Beyond that I can't comment.Have a great day!!x
