Modular Expandable Customizable 12 Bottle Wine Rack

This was easy to assemble and inexpensive. It fits the spot we have available, and is holding up well.

Bought this to fit in a particular space. It was hard to put together as the dowels are not uniform in diameter. Further, the drilling is inconsistent. I had thought to expand with another set but won't be buying this again.

Bought four "modules", which can each hold 3 X 4 = 12 bottles. The intent was to make a rack assembled from all four "modules".Assembly is not trivial. I am writing after completing the first module, a process which took two people working together an hour. Why so long? There are two kinds of parts- dowels and the larger pieces into which dowels fit. Eight dowel holes in each. The holes do not precisely fit the dowels. Some fit too loosely, some need to be forced by hand or by blows of a rubber mallet. All joints need to be glued if the structure is to support securely the wine. 4 modules X 12 pieces X 8 joints per pieces = lots of joints. This is not a wine rack, it is a construction project. Have on hand a rubber mallet and wood glue before you begin.I expect that when finished the result will be handsome and functional. Three stars however because-There is too much labor involved.Three bucks per unit of storage space is not cost-effective; I usually aim for a dollar per bottle.

Difficult to assemble. Poor quality control in that the dowels that connect the wood rods are not sufficiently uniform -- some fit loosely others not at all. I bought 3, banged together 1 and am returning the other 2 as not worth the effort.

Good product, I used it to build a wine rack under my stairs in the "unusable" part of the closet. I immediately bought 2 more sets to expand. Only problem is that it is hard to get the pegs into the holes. I ended up constructing in out in the living room and moving it into the closet as I needed to use a hammer to get the pegs to stay in.

I love this wine rack. You can build it to fit your area for wine. Takes very little time to put together. Nice and sturdy.

This is not a quick an easy assemble; after completing the set up I felt like I could have built my own rack in the same amount of time. The dowels don't fit into the predrilled holes.

Took quite a bit of reshaping and a mallet to get it together. Is really a little flimsier than I like to trust several bottles to so I have it situated against walls in a corner for extra support.
