Smells like Patchouli & definitely thickens hair, though I do use it in combo with hair curling products.

I have used this product for several years now along with its sister product, Aveda Texturizing Spray. I have very fine hair and have tried numerous products over the years that did not work. This does. I put it on my wet hair after shampooing and toweling dry along with the Texturizing Spray. I also use it on dry hair in between shampoos without adding the Texturizing Spray. My hair is noticeably thicker and will also maintain a curl after using hot curlers. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it! My only complaint is that it has an herbal smell. Some love that smell; I do not but will put up with it for what it does for my hair. Highly recommend.

I got this as I had a traumatic hair shedding from another issue. This is easy to apply and really helped my hair feel fuller and you know that a hair issue can be upsetting. It's not heavy or doesn't leave my hair sticky but I only go over my hair once with it. No scent that I can tell and I am sensitive to scents. It definitely gave my hair more volume, but it was nothing extravagant- worth it to feel a little better about the hair loss as new growth comes in. 4 stars as it's pricy, but if I concentrate on roots and just go around with sprays once, it lasts awhile. I'm still on the hunt for something as good, or better for less $$

I have very fine, thin hair. It’s short and I’m using a styling mousse, which fluffs it up but then it tends to split in areas making it possible to see down to the scalp which makes me feel self conscious. This product plumps the hair just enough to minimize that tendency so my hair stays fluffy without gaps forming where you can see through. Great product for that purpose.

The product will add a feeling of fullness to your hair, but know that comes from wheat and many people are allergic and get itchy scalp from it. Also, if you’re avoiding silicones then pass on this, it contains dimethicone. A step up from drugstore brands, and the fragrance is better, but not worth the price if you’re thinking it’s a “natural” alternative.
