After suffering a pubic ramus fracture several years ago, bike riding has been very difficult for me. Because sitting on a bike seat aggravates the old injury site and is painful. So I had pretty much given up on bike riding for leisure or exercise. With a recent desire to go out riding I decided to order this “squishy” seat and see if it could help alleviate the pain. I like that it came with the necessary wrenches to make installation quick and easy. I went for a 45 minute bike ride and the seat was indeed comfortable and squishy feeling. I was astonished to be completely pain free for the entire ride. This is the first time in years I have been able to enjoy riding my bike, I’m so happy I found this seat.

This is one comfortable seat. I ride allot and my butt doesn't get numb. It's very well padded and water resistant so your butt doesn't get wetAll in all it's a great seat.

So, it does seem like many reviewers enjoy this thick wide seat, unfortunately I'm just not one of them.. This seat is just a little wider than my stock seat and a little thicker. I was going for this seat because of the price and for the padding being memory foam. I own so many thing with memory foam and love it. Then after purchasing and trying it something was not right with the so called memory foam seat. Don't get me wrong. It does seem comfortable, but I wanted the memory foam comfort and I know memory foam to slowly rise after being compressed, but this did not. It act as standard foam. I went back and read the site details slowly and saw the words high-density memory sponge material..huh? I took it to a bike shop and they showed me a seat that had a few different layers of foam including memory foam which was the top layer and did slowly decompress after sat on. I was told the seat I have does not contain memory foam. So I'm returning and sticking with my shock seat for now.
