Charbroil® SAFER Grill Brush Replacement Head - 8666895

I worried about using the metal bristle brushes on the grill grates. I've read nightmares about metal bristles getting into grilled foods. I don't worry about this one. The nylon bristles are sturdy enough to use even on a hot grill. The scrapper helps get off the heavy stuff and the brush is great for cleaning the grill. I love the fact we can buy a replacement head and not to have to throw out the entire brush and handle. Great idea. It snaps right in place and in seconds you have a new clean brush to start off grilling season, which for us in all year round!

I purchased the brush for this replacement brush head and I like it very much. After reading about metal bristles breaking off onto the grill and they are picked up in the food you're grilling. This brush does a very good job of cleaning debris off the grates. Definitely recommend the brush and these replacement heads.

A bit expensive for what it is but it does the job

Great replacement for my grill brush. Wears pretty well and no worries about metal in your meats.

We have 4 cows on our 2-acre pasture. They cows were always looking for ways to soothe an itch. We set up a 6x6 wooden post, and we installed a number of these brushes on the post. The cows immediately took to them to brush themselves. I periodically brush two of the cows, but one cow does not like me to get close to her face. But she will use the "scratching post" with these brushes for her face. Every couple of weeks, especially in the late-spring, I need to clear out all the hair that builds up on the brushes. But this has worked out very well for us, and much more economical than the brushes normally sold for cows and horses.

Replacement heads are difficult to find, since we seem to be a throwaway society. Like many mass produced items from China, brush heads may be interchangeable. Couldn't find one for our Saber brush, but after looking at other brushes with replaceable heads (including Grillmark and Charbroil) I Could see that this would fit. (Size and tab locations are identical.)
