Too Faced Tinted Beauty Balm Multi Benefit Skin Care Makeup, Vanilla Glow, 1.5 Fluid Ounce

So I've only ever tried the Garnier BB cream before I chose this one as a splurge for Christmas. I could definitely feel the Garnier BB cream on my face, and I don't think it made that much of a difference. It also didn't claim to have long-term benefits for your skin, it seemed to be basically a tinted moisturizer with sunblock that they slapped the name "BB cream" on.When I made the decision to buy Too Faced Beauty Balm, I did a little research first. Looking at their other products and the ingredients they use, I did notice that they seemed to put in more things that would create long-term benefits and take care of my skin, such as chamomile or Vitamins A and E. I also made sure that they labeled their BB cream as "antiaging" and claimed long-term benefits, because if a product doesn't outright claim it, it probably doesn't live up to your expectations as a BB cream.Now for my experience with it:I think I won't be buying anything else other than this cream! At first, it seemed like a corner of my mouth broke out in a small rash because of it, but after a couple weeks it went away. I assume my skin got used to it, which is good, because this stuff makes my skin look like a model. I do have to add that I have pretty good skin, not great skin, to begin with - I break out sometimes, but not often, because I'm 23 and over puberty.You only need a pea-sized amount for each half of your face and forehead, and a pea-sized amount for your nose and chin together - I bought this 2 months ago and I think it's going to last me for about another month, so even though the price tag is a bit high for me, it's doable.After I smooth on the cream, my pores seem to get unbelievably small or vanish, and my skin takes on a nice healthy-looking glow, and it definitely evens out my face color as it claims (so that my face is a nice, even shade, and gives it a nice natural look). I have freckles, and I can tell that they fade a bit when I put it on, so it's probably good to cover some light blemishes too, especially if you put foundation over this. When I put on foundation over this, it makes the application smoother and more even. But foundation is not even be necessary if you're going for a natural look, but don't want to leave the house without some makeup or nice natural coverage on your face. It really does give your skin a wonderful glow, and not shiny, which is good because I despise sparkles and oiliness in makeup. I'm more of a fan of a matte finish. Too Faced does a great job with their variety of shades - I was able to match my skin accurately by looking for examples of what it looks like on people's skin on YouTube.I have to also mention that I know it has a slight, pleasant smell to it, but I don't even remember what it smells like, so it must be pretty subtle because I wear it every day. I just remember noticing it when I was first trying it out. I think my face cream overpowers it, so goes to show you how subtle it is.These days I can't leave the house without at least a layer of Too Faced Beauty Balm! I like to apply it over my regular face moisturizer with SPF for extra coverage from the sun. And it helps protect my face from the biting cold winter weather up here in Wisconsin!Highly, highly recommended, if you're unsure you can always check here or eBay for sample sizes. This cream is definitely a staple for me, try it out! It first caught my attention from Women's Health magazine. And I can't say I hate the packaging it comes it - Too Faced always has such gorgeous boxes for their products. Because of this cream, I know own Too Faced foundation powder, brushes, eye shadow and liner, and lipstick! Heehee.

I absolutely love this beauty balm, I can't say enough about it. I'm a big fan of the Too Faced line anyways, but this product is amazing. I wear it with their Primed and Poreless Primer and their Chocolate Soleil Bronzer and I have a healthy summer glow year round. The BB Cream has more coverage than a tinted moisturizer, but blends just as easlily and looks very natural on. It also seems to last longer. I like it better than foundation because of the additional benefits to my skin. The beach glow color looks very natural on me. It is so close to my natural color, you have to look really close to see that I am wearing any makeup at all. I'm a medium to dark skin, olive-toned Italian to give you a point of reference. I can ususally get 2 1/2 - 3 months from one tube, so the value is great too. There are so many out there now, so if you have been thinking about trying a BB cream, I recommend the Too Faced version.

This makeup looked nothing like a beach glow! It was very orange. When I tried to return, was told it would be reduced refund, restocking fee and my cost of return. Very unpleasant experience!! I will just keep it, throw it away and be VERY careful in the future.

I always keep a supply of this around. Great for evening out skin tone (though if you need more coverage best to use in conjunction with a heavier base). Generally I'll just cover areas that need more camo (around nose, under eyes, etc) with a concealer or base and then use this everywhere else, including neck and decolletee.The Vanilla color is especially good for very fair skin with light yellow undertones. Only slight annoyance is that it can be tricky getting the last drops out of the tube once it's nearly finished--if you're not careful you can wind up with it squirting onto your clothes, face, etc. Just use caution when the tube is running low. Tube lasts a long time, though!

i don't use make up except on special occasions (or whenever i feel like it) because make-up feels heavy on my face and i tend to break out.... but i want something that can do a little bit coverage for some of my acne scars and to even-out my skin tone without having to apply too many stuff (i usually do moisturizer, primer, then concealer then foundation, then blush) and i also want something that i can use everyday and won't take too much time to apply because i'm always in a hurry in the mornings...my solution is to look for a tinted moisturizer... but i want something with spf and that is how i came across this product....the other nice thing about this product is it doesn't just do coverage and has spf but it does a lot more for your skin too! loving it so far!btw, thought i'd share this because i read one review about breaking out after using this.... on my first try i did break out so i stopped using it but i tried it again a few months later and didn't have a single pimple.... not sure if the break out was just a coincidence because because i was planning my wedding that time and we all know how stressful that is... but like i said, i have been using this for months now and will be ordering a new tube soon because i'm running low...update:i have been using this everyday (i ordered the 1.5 fl oz.) since february 2013and was just about to order my 2nd tube (aug 2 2013). a tiny squirt comes a long way!

This product is more of an orange color in person than it appears in the picture. I go tanning regularly so most products like this one match my skin tone. This product was just a little too orange for my taste. It seems like you need to dispurse a lot of product at once because it can be hard to rub into the skin. It has a light feel on the face and it is not too heavy or sticky for the summer time. Overll I just don't like the tint of the product on my skintone.
