This liquid soap is one of my favorite soaps. The fresh, zesty citrus aroma is do invigorating and clean—not overpowering at all, just right. What really makes this soap stand out is how versatile it is. It’s a great value and a staple in my household. It has 18 different uses: body wash, face cleanser, hand soap, shampoo, shaving soap, toothpaste (yes, for real!), bath soak, foot soak, dish soap, laundry detergent, mopping floors, cleaning counters, washing produce, makeup brush cleaner, all-purpose household cleaner, car wash, camping soap, and if you have pets, pet wash. This is made with organic ingredients, gentle on the skin, and a little goes a long way. I also love how eco-friendly and effective it is. This is definitely a product I’ll keep coming back to.

High-Quality Vegan Castile Orange-Scented Soap for Body, Hair and Everything!
It makes me smell like oranges. I love that!As a castile soap, it's vegan...yay!The first, larger, bottle I got elsewhere seemed too harsh to use in my hair, but these smaller bottles from Amazon, (combined with a shower water filter to soften our hard, city water and actually create a lather), seem fine. I've seen varying opinions, so I'm thinking strength can vary. My hair's on the drier side and I'm on the older side, for some reference.I use it mostly as a body soap and it's wonderful. It's my preferred soap. I think it works as well as or slightly better than Suave Milk & Honey, which I also use. For hand soap and shaving, I prefer the Suave, but the Dr. Bronner's will de-gunk you--especially if you've been sweating a lot--much quicker. You can use it to wash just about anything, though cats don't like citrus so I wouldn't bathe a cat with it. I know you can use it for clothes, but have read that there can be a build-up. I love the smell and quality so much that I'd like to find out if I can use something in the rinse to combat build-up so that I could use it on my clothes.

My New Shampoo! Really!
I have been searching for an effective shampoo that has no harmful chemicals. Not an easy task! My son recommended Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Liquid Soap. Soap? For my very long hair? I was not in love with this idea, because my hair tangles easily and is very fine. However, since I was so in love with Dr. Bronner’s bar soaps and toothpaste, I needed to find a Dr. Bronner’s shampoo. Sadly, there is no such thing. The Dr. Bronner’s site recommends the liquid soap, as my son did, so I gave it a try. I figured I could always use it as a hand soap, if it was a total flop, which I expected. However, it worked beautifully and didn’t even dry out my hair! And the lemon smells so wonderful! I could tell right away that it was going to work for my hair! When I rinsed it out, I was glad that I had given this a try. My hair came out smooth and clean! What a surprise! I admit, I do use both Dr. Bronner's hair rinse and hair creme afterwards for best results. And it doesn’t take much product at all! The listing says it is three times more concentrated than most liquid soaps, and I believe it! This soap cleans well and foams to a rich creamy lather. It is amazing that I can successfully clean my hair with a product made with no synthetic preservatives, detergents, or foaming agents! I love this product!

New Dr. Bronner's convert!
For a few months I've been using Dr. Bronner's peppermint bar soap to brush my teeth (people say flouride toothpaste is toxic) and it gets them clean and really doesn't taste too soapy. I've been wanting to try the liquid but couldn't find small bottles anywhere, so here I bought 8 oz bottles of Tea Tree and Citrus each. I'm hooked! You can really use this castile soap for just about everything. It's also natural, environmentally friendly and the company supports ethical causes. I'll break it down-Tea Tree: Natural antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, nice medicinal smell. DO NOT try brushing your teeth with this variety, it burns and is all you can taste for hours. Otherwise it will fulfill all your dirty jobs and aid very well in skin conditions.Citrus Orange: Orange oil benefits include similar antibacterial properties as stated above, good for skin, uplifting scent in aromatherapy. This soap is mild and freshly fragranced. This soap lathers nicely but less as you dilute it, which is recommended for a lot of purposes. I've used it every day for cleaning makeup brushes; washing face and body- tea tree & citrus are both beneficial to fighting acne and this soap doesn't strip skin; footbath (every winter I get an annoying cuticle infection from sweaty socks, gross;) laundry add-in (antimicrobial extra measures;) hair- clarifying agent to strip buildup, still trying to figure this one out- I shampoo regularly after; cleaning buildup on my bamboo hairbrush; mopping floors. Just about anything you can think of! Of course consult online forums and read proper usage, i.e. possibly not appropriate to wash pets, or all but baby mild are not recommended for sensitive skin and, well, babies.Sometimes I mix tea tree and citrus together for maximum performance, and to conserve more of each. I want to try more scents, but don't want to waste plastic, so I'm debating sizes to buy. When I choose my favorites I'll figure out which to keep in bulk and refill, etc. I really like the stuff! I'll update after I try more.
