Curb use not that easy.
Although the claim is that you can adjust wheels and use on "all" curbs without the need for an adjustable wheel. This is not the case. If you have rounded curbs like I do. Also, the web page claims that a curb wheel is included with this product ,,, not true. But, Amazon did cover the cost of purchasing a curb wheel from the manufacturer. Otherwise a great edger.

I like the edger but it is advertised as having a curb wheel but didn't come with one, which I need. I contacted the seller but they said that it doesn't come with one.

Not as Advertised! Blade is not vertical when in center position, throttle design is horrible, runs good though...
It appears this edger is no longer available, but it's advertised as having a curb wheel, which I desperately need, and it does NOT come with any type of curb adjustment. You can tilt the blade, which helps a little. My other issue is that when I have my blade adjuster in the middle vertical position, it's not completely vertical! So, it's edging at a curve, which sucks. Mine runs great and hopefully will continue to do so, but there's no curb wheel included, the vertical position is not vertical and the throttle design really sucks.

Unfortunately, no alternative
I had a McClain edger for 20 years (back when they made good ones). I replaced it with a new one I bought on Amazon 3 years ago... they don't make them like they used to!I just bought another one and figure I'll get about 3 years out of this one also. I keep buying them because I really don't like the pole edgers and there doesn't seem to be another alternative out there. I agree with other customers, that the throttle on this edger is horrible - I use a bungie cord to keep the throttle wide open. Also, I noticed on this purchase that the blade is not perfectly straight up and down, it's off a few degrees (poor craftsmanship).

Very pleased.
Powerful. Replaces a similar McLane that was still running after 18 years and is still being used by a friend.

Great Edger
Works well. Some issues assembling it but were resolved fairly quickly.

Received this edger quickly. It is a very heavy duty edger. Easy to start and does a great job.
