This tea is great for energy. Coffee upsets my stomach, caffeine pills can make me jittery, and energy drinks work well for me but aren't cheap and aren't healthy either. This tea hits the sweet spot; it provides quick but sustained energy. As some other reviews have mentioned the taste/smell is kinda unique (sorta like fresh cut grass), but I find it to be really smooth and enjoyable.

This is an herbal tea that takes a little getting used to the taste. It's not bad just different. Smells like fresh cut lawn. The flavor is earthy. It's a good morning wake-up tea.

For me personally, I did not enjoy the smell or taste of this product. I was new to yerba so of course, not everyone is a good match.It smelled like smokey ash and my stomach felt ill in the evening. I only used this in the morning with a light breakfast.

Well the 3 pack box now that I love it!Let me tell you about this Mate Tea! I no longer want to take 3 O'clock naps at work I make the tea around 2pm and start drinking around 2:20 after it steeps. Before I tried this tea I was taking 5 hour energy drinks sometimes to stay awake at work or I would just be so drowsy. This keeps me going without any side effects at all! The taste is ok, if you like tea you'll like it if you like a more flavorful tea I just got Torani Sugar Free Raspberry syrup to add to it, I will try peach flavor next.Also, I have had severe lower back pain for the past 10 months (of course I did not go to doctor as I am really overweight and you know the Doctors blame everything on weight when you are as large as me) anyway I put myself on a calorie counting dare I say diet :( and I had lost 70 Lbs and still back pain - NO reduction in the pain at all!I started drinking the tea and gradually my back pain has went from 10 to about a 3. I know I am skeptical too! Was it the tea??? Well I can 80% say Yes it was the tea, because I have been without for about a week and guess what, my back pain is gradually going back up to severe! So I am ordering More tea today.(its good cold too, I got an old juice container maybe a liter or little more, Im terrible with measurements, one of those ocean spray containers and put 2 bags in the container added water and kept it in fridge for about 4 hours and it was really good!) I do not drink it after 4pm. I normally fall asleep around 11pm. Hope this has helped!
