Better than dried kidney beans
I'm cooking clean lately and found that these pinto beans reconstitute faster than kidney beans. They're every bit as good as kidney beans in 3-bean salad and chili, so I use these now.

Good but not great
First of all, the bag is really flimsy if you ask me. I had to transfer it. The beans I got from Walmart in bulk 8 lb bags seemed fresher. So I made Iberia's and made Walmart's, Iberia came in second. The beans are larger and less flavorful. But all-in-all a good buy and a good product just not excellent.

These beans worked really well for refried beans. Yummy! The price is much better than at other stores as far as I could see.
