Cold Case Crackers | Murder Mystery Game | Addenberg Train Bomber Case | Can You Crack The Case?

My family and I have tried a couple of these. This was one of the most logical and straight forward. All of the story progression made sense. It was not too difficult to figure out once we found the clues we accidentally misplaced. It is nice and enjoyable to solve. I can see why it has such a high rating! The stages each got progressively more challenging. However, it was not to challenging to be too difficult for a casual family fun night.

My wife bought the game and i was a skeptic. We played with two other couples. One was into these sorts of "alternative board games" types of things and another that was new like me and my wife. It came and looked like this cool spy dossier, and while i didnt think id be into it i was open minded. It was so much fun. It was super exciting and we all got really into. My friends that are more into games said this one was especially good and my wife loved it (and really loved telling me "i told you it would be fun"). I thought it was awesome though, can't wait for another case to crack. If you're thinking about it, i definitely recommend giving out a try. Way better night then a board game or a movie or a bar. Was definitely memorable, lots of fun, and super well thought out with super convincing materials.

Played this on a Friday night with some old college friends. It was a great night. Great challenge! Took us about 2 hours to complete. We were really impressed with the level of detail of the clues and evidence. Real newspaper clippings, call logs, etc. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning a game night. The creators definitely put a lot of work into this to make a great product. Keep up the good work and we will be buying more!

Gave it to her Christmas eve, she opened it up and immediately started working on it. Probably did 2.5 hours the first day, maybe another 2.5 hours the following morning. She had it spread out all over the floor, a great idea would have been a large poster board with some red push pins and some colored yarn to tie clues together like the movies (would have been overkill, but thats what I was seeing while she was doing it.She used all the clues, didn't ask for help and thoroughly enjoyed herself. I asked if she wanted to give it away to a friend, she said that part of the set up scrambled up the way that it was packaged and it really didnt work out. If you want to regift it, you might need to do an inventory before getting into the event.Wish it would have been a little less expensive, or able to be re-used some how, but the product came exactly how it was represented, it was surprisingly thorough (newspaper clippings had ads etc on the back of them) so that added to the realism.Would strongly recommend for a bunch of friends, an inquisitive teenager, someone who likes puzzles. Will probably buy a second package down the road.

The media could not be loaded. This was the most fun physical and digital game I have ever played! Was soo worth the money and we were up all night playing. We managed to solve the case by dawn and the sheer satisfaction alone of solving the case was completely worth it. We were pacing the floor, drinking cup after cup of coffee and arguing about who the bomber was. The memories from last night were some of the best one's I've had this summer.

This was a super fun experience! It took a little longer than hour or so, but played on my own while the kids were out of the house. This would be perfect for a totally fun date night or family night (I suggest ages 12+ due to bombing theme, but it's really family friendly). I encountered a slight hiccup at the start, but I reached out via social media and they fixed it within hours AT NIGHT ON A WEEKEND! I was so appreciative! Bravo on your customer service! Definitely going to be buying more!

We purchased a different cold case from a different company that was great. This one was pretty easy in comparison. They asked questions that were so obvious that we thought it couldn't be that easy. Maybe it's because we had done another one so we had an idea of how to do it. I don't know. It just didn't feel like it flowed as well the other case. But it did entertain us for about an hour, so I guess that's good.

This case file was better than expected. My boyfriend and I spent about 3 hours on this and there were times where we genuinely had to put thought into figuring out the evidence. This product was well made with plenty of misleading and extra evidence to make it feel like a true mystery. It was challenging without be frustrating. We will probably be purchasing their other case file and would highly recommend this to anyone even mildly interested in mystery games, puzzles, or brain games.
