Dolphin Genuine Accessory — Universal Caddy for Any Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner — Easy to Transport and Store Your Dolphin Year-Round

I really like my Dolphin Genuine Accessory — Universal Caddy for Any Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner. For the past 3 years my Dolphin S200 has sat in a plastic storage box by my pool and I drag it out once a week to clean my pool. I dread that part. With my new cart, my robot sits on the cart where I wheel it over to the side of the pool, put it in and let it do its thing. End result is I now run my robot every other day, no more lugging in and out of the box and it looks nice sitting by my pool. My Dolphin S200 fits perfectly on the cart as you can see by the pictures. Also, I just went through a bout of algae which may have been avoided if I ran my robot more often. The cost of the shock to cleanup my pool would have just about paid for the cart. I also rinse off my robot after each use and when it sits on the cart it is off the ground and can drain and dry properly which is why I like the plastic. This cart is plastic and works perfect to move my 10 pound robot around. Do not think you’re getting a 2 wheel moving cart to move a refrigerator. I was confused by the one star reviews as none of those reviews impacted my cart. Maybe those issues were assembly issues, for example my wheels move perfectly fine. I felt the instructions were very confusing and actually step one was incorrect at least in my mind. I went to YouTube and searched on Maytronics Universal Cart and there is a video showing how to assemble the cart. Using the video I assembled the cart with no problem in less than 30 minutes. When I bought my robot I did research and found that some people leave their robots in the pool to make it easier to run. Get the cart, pull your robot out of the pool after each use, rinse it off, clean the filter and significantly extend the life of your robot. I would recommend getting the Maytronics cover as well.

Great product at a great price! 10 minute easy assembly. So much easier to roll this out to the pool. I like that the controller is mounted on the caddy, and ease of winding the cord on the cord holder. Seems pretty well made although made entirely of plastic. Its lightweight but handles the robot, controller, and cord with no problem.

Bought this to store recently purchased Dolphin Premiere automated pool cleaner. We have a travertine paver deck (natural stone) and I have read that the Dolphin robots last longer when they are not sitting on hard surfaces - the caddies sold by Dolphin are designed to keep the rubber brushes from being damaged by supporting the robot frame and keeping the pressure off the brushes themselves. The premium caddy is indistinguishable from the "regular" caddy as best as I can tell, but comes with a heavier duty canvas cover. I got the premium cover simply because if it's going to be on my deck I don't want it looking like a cheap tarp. The caddy itself is basically just several pieces of molded plastic that is secured by screws (you get to do this part yourself!). The exception is the "neck" that goes from the base to the handle which feels like it might be aluminum. Setup took about 10-15 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver - fairly easy to follow the instructions and do it without any help. The quality of the caddy itself is acceptable. It wheeled out of my house and onto my deck without issue or creaking, and of course it perfectly fit my cleaner and power supply. I wish there were velcro straps or rubber gaskets or something that I could use to secure the power cord of the cleaner while it's being stored. Instead it's designed to just wrap it around the handle and hang loosely which just feels a little sloppy and unpolished in it's design. You won't see this while it's covered, obviously, but it would have felt much more "premium". Overall, I consider this a very meh value for $200. However since it is proprietary and meant to fit their brand of cleaners you don't have much choice for shopping around. One reason for the cost could be that they ship extra parts - since the caddy is universal, it can be put together 2 different ways to accommodate different models of cleaner. Nice! Except that the parts you don't need are just extra pieces of plastic leftover at the end. Will I save these in the event that I purchase a different Dolphin cleaner in the future that requires it to be reconfigured? Highly unlikely. They don't store in/on the unit in any way, so they will be put in the garage and there is a very good chance I forget about them or throw them out at some point. I'd have liked a non-universal option that saved me $25 and did not include the parts I did not need - or better yet a way to store them on the unit itself in the event I needed them in the future. Pros: -Fits model to the T -Easy to assemble -Premium cover is easier on the eyes Cons: -A bit overpriced for the materials -Extra parts without any way to store them Overall: I give it 4/5 stars, dinging it for value but recognizing that it does the job it states it will do (safely and conveniently store your Dolphin cleaner).

Hands-down, this Dolphin caddy is absolutely worth it if you already own a Dolphin cleaner. The build quality & ergonomics are not only excellent and what you'd already expect from Maytronics, but the caddy is also designed to perfectly fit the Nautilus cleaner & power supply for seamless storage & transportation. Pictures added to show how the cleaner fits on the platform; and also, how the power supply slides into its own slot for seamless, perfect storage. Notably, the caddy is also Made in the USA. For 100% transparency, I'm not a professional reviewer & didn't receive any payment or discounts for writing this review. I purchased this caddy during Amazon's Black Friday sale when it was $20 off and priced comparably to the other generic universal caddies available at Amazon. Even at full price, I consider the official Dolphin caddy to be a functional tool, and an excellent value.

Perfect accessory for the dolphin robot pool cleaner. The resting area keeps the fins from being compressed. The cart maneuvers easily and Everything is in one place!

As for the caddy, I couldn't do it without it. It is a MUST If you are going to get the Dolphin. It makes it SOOOO easy. I just wheel the whole thing out from the storage unit to the pool and plug it in and drop the Dolphin in the pool. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to not have the caddy. As for the Dolphin, I love it. It saves having to run my vacuum, which is a little bit of a pain for me. You just have to spray off the bag when it is done. It is best for picking up things that have settled. I don't use it when I first open the pool for the season because it does tend to stir things up that are very light. I use it only when the water color is good and I am not fighting algae, etc. Again, the Dolphin and the caddy make a great pair!
