I bought these lamps for the natural, irregular, amber glow they throw off. And for that they definitely do great. It's a nice warm glow.However, the build quality of these lamps leave a lot of room for improvement. The wooden stand looks very cheaply made. It doesn't really fit cleanly onto top half of the salt lamp. Honestly, (just being honest here) it looks like a kids art project.Mine are placed high up on a shelf so no one is going to see the base, just the beautiful glow. If I were to place it on a nightstand by my bed, I think I'd might be disappointed by the overall look and build quality.

This was the second version of this I purchased and the one I am keeping because it is MUCH higher quality than the first. But I think my expectations of how how the stones would get in these was off, hence the title. It will warm the top stone warm enough to use for massage, but that’s about it.For a real stone massage, I heat them in my old rice cooker, but this is great for setting on my desk and grabbing throughout the day for a quick hand warmer or to roll around my neck, etc.Pros:- came well protected (although it was in styrofoam, which is a also a con imo)- cage around the bulb protects the bulb from stones- the stones it came with are smoother and higher quality than the other one I had tried- gets warmer than the first one I’d triedCons:- doesn’t warm all the stones (maybe a different bulb would help?)- was $35 vs $20 ish for the cheaper one (that didn’t have a bulb cage and didn’t heat the stones at all)- came packed in styrofoam (although this type IS recyclable in my area, that’s not common)Kind of digging for cons… I like it. Great stress reliever/mood light for office, living room or bedroom. I could see myself using it in any of those places.

I recently purchased a salt lamp. First I was skeptical because it looked as if the box was open upon being delivered . I unboxed plugged it in and was happy and content. Such a beautiful piece my family loved the look of it! We have only used it for a few hours and the blub already quit and burnt out . When I took it apart to look at the light the bulb was totally black and burnt , the socket it was in smelled burnt ! The light bulb that was in the lamp was also the incorrect bulb it was a 25w bulb not a 15w as specified in your add.. kind of disappointed. Not sure if it's even safely usable anymore!

This salt lamp has a dimmer switch thar allows the lighting in the room to be softened. Excellent quality.

This is a really nice product. Has a nice heavy weight and amazing glow. The light has a dimmer, very low to bright. Quality seems good.
