Looks like an average product
I bought this product to hold down my solar cover. Where I live has been hit with climate change. The temps have risen and winds have gotten worse. Monsoons are common along with heavy rain and wind gusts.Time will tell if this product is durable enough to withstand a harsh climate.

1/2 the tubes don't hold water
The tubes were easy to fill and when both sides of a tube are filled, it will hold the cover well. However, the next morning when I got up and looked at them, of the 6 tubes I had received, for 3 of them only one of the two cylinders had water in them. Very disappointing as now I'm concerned that my pool cover won't stay in place over the summer storms at our vacation hone

Worked well.
These worked great for the winter, however 2 of them arrived with leaks in them. Thankfully I only ended up needing to use 4.

Might as well have bought floaties
I 2as desperate, i followed thru with the directions. Simple just add water. There it was, a leak, a spring. I had to improvise with adhesive and a piece of rubber. I would have to order a whole new set for the third time. But that's another story. Good luck to you. Mamba Out

More hold power than expected.
More hold power than expected. We have a small oval pool that is about 30 feet by 18 feet and own an oversized pool tarp with straps. We were using landscaping bricks to hold down the tarp but it would still slowly sink into the pool as it rained. We purchased (6) 8 foot water tube and (2) 10 foot water tube. We used the (2) 10 foot ones on the long side of the pool and the (6) 8 foot ones around the oval curved areas. See attached picture. We likely over purchased on quantity as the pool parameter only have about 8 1 to 2 foot sections without a water tube. However, since we purchased in bulk on amazon it was fairly cheap. The best surprise was that the water tubes could be positioned along a curve. We did not use the pool tarp straps for the water tubes and instead opted to curve around the pool oval parameter to allow for more walking round around the pool in the winter. The curved solution was the best looking pool covering we have had in years. The solution we have can hold about 6-8 inches of water on top of the pool water surface and not cave in. We were really impressed. This means we no longer had to rush to place the a pump on top of the tarp after it rained in case if caved it. We even left for a 10 day vacation without worrying to ask a neighbor to check on the pool. The only time the tarp caved in on a section of the pool was when a friends dog (70lbs) got on the tarp to get a bird. The dog’s weight was localized and not spread out so a corner of the tarp came out from under the water tube. The water tube is made of strong material and does not easily get pierced. We only have one hole from the dogs nails and she ran around the pool all winter. The hole was easily found and patched with a bicycle tube patch for less than a dollar. The have used the patched water tube the following winter and the patch held up.The red end caps are a bit hard to close, but my husband can easily close them after I fill them. We store the water tubes in a shed out of the sun when not in use and so far have not had any issues with quality.

Seem to be working alright. Could use a grommet at each end.
We live in the stormy NW and they do travel around on the cover with the assistance of heavy rain. One leaked right away, but the other half held water so it is still in use. Water will always rush to the low end,...and there is always a low end, but they still work great to keep tarp from billowing, which is destructive. I would think that putting a grommet on each end would be a benefit to loosely tying them to a specific area of your pool cover.

1/4 of them leaked
Ordered a 12 pack box and 1/4 of them leaked when putting water in them. Had to do a return/replace shipment. When the replacements arrived simply used 4 from the new box and return the bad ones with the unopened 8. Quality seems fair if they do not leak from the factory so their quality control is bad

Wasted my money - not like the ones I received before.
I am so disappointed with this purchase! I have used these tubes for holding my pool cover for a long time. I have ordered the single tubes and been very satisfied. There was no reason to believe that I would not be just as pleased with this purchase. The shipment arrived quickly and was perfectly packaged. The address was from Robelle, so I was confident in the product. It is made in China, but that's no biggie as long as it's well made. I have received about 3 years of use from the old tubes and some were still in good shape, so I assumed these would do well. The quality of the vinyl seems fine and the "welded" seams are good. The tubes come individually wrapped. I filled the first tube and tried to close it and that's when the problem showed up. These normally fit snug and are sometimes difficult to open; but with a little urging, they usually close just fine. Not this time. I have a pretty decent grip and it was a struggle for me to get the first tube closed. It wasn't from weather either. The temp is in the 60s today. I had to work it around, keeping even pressure and push HARD in the middle to finally get it to close. It was not the satisfying "snap" closure that all my other tubes exhibit. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I filled the second tube. I have even more trouble with this one. I had to squeeze and wiggle - and finally laid it on a flat surface and exerted a lot of pressure with the palm of my hand to get is closed. I realized at that point, that I had made a mistake. These are normally a little tight when I try to open them in the spring and empty the water. After closing the second tube, I realized that it was permanently closed. It was too late to send them back, so I continued to the third tube. I filled it and when I tried to close it, I realized that it was even harder than the first two. The opening had been put on the tube and was in an oval shape, but the closure plug is round. They are slightly flexible, so I tried squeezing the shape, squeezing the plug - everything I could think of. I got it close, with just about 45 degrees of the outside arch not closed and could get no further using every trick I knew. I even tried stepping on it - about 200 lbs of pressure per square inch and it still wouldn't close. Can't send them back and can't use them as they are. I don't know if the one's I got were old and the openings were inflexible or if Robelle has changed Chinese manufacturers, but these are different from the ones I have received before. A total waste on my part. If I was evaluating the previous products, this would be a five star review. Maybe your experience will be different from mine, but I would suggest a different brand or purchasing at the local pool store so you can see the product before you purchase. I'm uploading a photo of the third tube so you can see the problem. I hope this review is helpful.

Does the job
Good - only fill half way due to cold weather turning the water to ice.

Don't buy
I got this product 2 tubes were leaking already. According to price they are charging its not worth at all...Either they should send complimentary more tubes or reduced price to half of what they asking .Please look around in market or other than this product .I wanted to return it then I had to drain water from rest of tubes and send them back it's alot of work first filling and then draining . Then I was like screw it I bought sealant for tubes then I fixed with those.***warning**** don't spend your time and money on these not worth it.

Smaller than 10 feet but otherwise as expected
It turns out that I measured these as they didn't seem 10 feet long and indeed these measured 284cm, which is just short of 9 feet 4 inches, so definitely not 10 feet long. 8 inches missing per bag and with the 6 pack of bags means I've been jipped of 48 inches or 4 feet worth of bags, so that's not cool! The closures are secure and we had no issues with closing them. If they were the advertised length, they'd get five stars as they are sturdy and much cheaper than the pool store.

They are not difficult to close and they work well as pool cover weights
The company may have changed the closure design but from images, they look the same. I was worried about comments that closing the valves was near impossible but in the absence of options which showed any difference in valve design, I ordered these. I filled and was able to close without any issue. Perhaps this was ok as the temperature was warm when I did, with full sun. Plastic was warm and pliable so maybe cold temperature makes closure harder? Not sure. Also not sure how durable and if they will last the winter but for now, I am ok with these. 4 stars as I thought the material would be thicker.
