I like the pass thru power. I successfully connected the usb, hdmi, and vga ports. I did not use the SD/TF card reader, but I don't expect a problem, since everything else works.

this one has enough connections to be very useful and still be light.

This is working as described, and I love the flexibility of only plugging in 1 item instead of 5. I'm using it with a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and my one complaint is that the power is somehow diminished when passing through this. Each time I start up I get a message about the power being less than the original cord, and that I should switch to that one. So it will power and charge, just slower than originally. This isn't a huge deal in my home office, but it is annoying to have to ESC through that message each time.

This adapter is exactly what I was looking for! Love it...

Laptop

Got this for the VGA port since my newer laptop has none...unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. HDMI and USB ports seem fine but the VGA port doesn't output video even though monitors are detected by the PC. Tried multiple computers (Linux and Windows) as well as my LG V30 phone. Tried multiple known working monitors...nothing, no display output.

I had another one like this, but really wanted one with a VGA adapter on it. Got this one and was not disappointed. Works perfectly right out of the box. Just plugged it into my Chromebook, and connect it up my VGA monitor. Now, the other thing that worked very well was plugging it into my Samsung Galaxy S10 plus. I was able to plug into that and use my thumb drive right from it. No driver, no problems. The way I actually used it was plugging it into my phone, then putting in micro SD card from my drone into it so I could copy the files right away. Works like a champ, and very happy with this. I also like the design, because in south Louisiana is very hot, but this does not sit flat so it's able to air out. also, the connector is small enough that I'm able to use my magnetic adapter for my charger, and not have to bend the plug. My other one would not fit into the second Port without bending it sideways, which would have eventually damaged my USB C port. This one, no worries.
