I love waxelene! I have very sensitive skin so for me this product is great. It’s also great that there’s only 4 ingredients. Most other lip balms have a huge list of ingredients but waxelene is simple and organic. Sometimes I’ll get some irritation from a razor and I’ll put waxelene on it and the redness is gone within about 15-20 minutes. Seriously amazing stuff.

I am never without this. It's the best thing I've found for softening and locking in moisture overnight and during the day, without using petroleum derivatives. My lips really like this! I used to use Blistex overnight. Most mornings, I would wake up with lips that felt just OK, and they always seemed dry, with bits of loose skin that I would have to exfoliate off. Occasionally they would crack and bleed. Prior to using this, I never knew that my lips could be naturally smooth, rather than craggy and deeply lined. I now see that that was due to dryness, and when my lips are properly hydrated and protected from moisture loss in the dry California air, they remain soft and the lines are smoothed out. I credit this product with helping me see how my lips are supposed to be. Just be careful to obey expiration dates- this product has natural plant oils that can go rancid if left for a long time, and the product will have an off smell. When it's in date, there is no smell at all.

Tube arrive essentially empty. No damage to bix, it has to only be about 1/4 if that. Should have read the other reviews. Other products from company have been fine. Not allowed to return so bought a $13 empty tube.

Fun fact, your body has trouble digesting petroleum jelly but not bees wax! This is a great non toxic alternative.

works well, has a somewhat bitter taste to me. i use it anyway though, bc it works well and is not full of scary sounding chemicals.

I would like something that also plumes at the same time...can't wait for the new and improved. ..

I bought this hoping to find a lip product that works like vaseline but is petroleum free.The Waxelene product itself is ok; it doesn't work quite as well as vaseline but I'll take the trade off since it doesn't have petroleum in it. The packaging was the problem: 6 weeks after I bought it, the crimped end of the tube opened up and a lot more than I wanted leaked out into my hand every time I used it.This tube sits on my a desk in my home in a room that's a steady 68 degrees, and I have nevercarried it anywhere. Because of the faulty packaging I won't buy it again.

I really do enjoy this product, but to spend $15 on a product that is half empty was disappointing.
