Tewtross Car Bluetooth FM Transmitter Handsfree Kit with Large Display High Clarity Mic and Charging USB (Compact)

I simply love it. This one practically saved me lots of money. I drive an old Volkswagen Vento which has a music system that supports only FM and CD - no aux, USB or Bluetooth. For a long time I was contemplating to replace my stock music system with a more modern version which would have costed me anywhere between 30k to 40k. This little guy came as a savior. For a fraction of the cost (less than 5% of what I would have spent), I am getting all those functionalities. I had checked few other Bluetooth devices which carry a much lower price tag; however those were not up to the mark with many glitches and ended up dumping all of them. This little guy is near perfect and fits flush in my Vento's dashboard giving it a seamless look.The sound output is not exactly CD quality but quite decent for my liking. I am a hi-fi enthusiast and have done many experiments with sound. Trust me this little guy will not dissapoint the average listener with its sound quality. One thing I have however observed is that there is significant signal loss and a hissing noice whenever I connect a phone charging cable to one of the USB ports. This persists even if I have no phone connected on the cable. Looks like the charging cable causes some sort of attenuation in the signals. I have observed similar behaviour when I leave my bunch of keys on the dashboard near the device. Now I have stopped keeping any kind of metallic stuff near the device and everything is fine. Since I dont charge my phone much in the car, this is not a big issue for me. Another minor issue that I have observed is bluetooth pairing with phone is not seamless when my phone is already connected to my smartwatch (through bluetooth). My phone supports multiple bluetooth connections. I just need to manually connect it to the FM device and it connects in first attempt (watch also remains connected). Otherwise when the phone is not already connected to any other device and bluetooth is on, pairing is absolutely seamless. This to me looks more like a phone issue rather than with the device. Call answer/dialling and sound quality is decent however volume is a little low and you may need to push up the volume a bit to hear the other person properly. The microphone is also very good and the person at other end can hear my voice crystal clear. In fact I found the microphone to be a tad better than many inbuilt versions found on cars nowadays.Some people have complained of noise quality and distortion. I would suggest them to try out the stuff I have mentioned and see if it works. Remember it is a mini FM station in itself and needs to be kept clear of interference (mainly metallic) which can hinder signal transmission. Another point to keep in mind is to keep the volume on this device constantly near its full volume (around 25-28) and control volume only on the car's music system. Keeping volume on this device low and increasing it on car's music system will produce unwanted noise.Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to bring 'LIFE' into their old car music system.

I can't even begin to express how easy it makes your driving experience. Tangle free phone, imagine that. Old car owners will know what I am talking about. The product does what it says. I liked the following about it.1. It has a mobile charger port.2. It can play audio through AUX.3. The bluetooth pairing is without any hiccups.4. Looks great in your car.5. Sound is good, not great though.What I did not like are these:1. The buttons are plasticky and does not feel that it will last long. (I am guessing though. If I do not update this review, you can safely assume that it is still working.)2. Playing audio through FM is not a solution for me as there is a lot of engine sound coming from all the channels. I tried a lot of stations without success. What worked for me was that I used AUX instead of FM and that made that engine sound ALMOST inaudible when the volume is under 30 (in my car).3. The neck of the product is a lil too stiff as a result of which it will be impossible to fit it nicely in some models. I wish it were a tad bit more stretchable.4. The sound is good not great though.5. I kept the product because even if it is a bit costly, they have provided an ON-OFF switch which makes it possible to just let it be in that cigarette lighter port even when you are not driving or your car is parked for weeks.So, that's it guys. In conclusion, I will say try the product, it is a must have if it works for you. I used it via AUX and it is a great accessory. Thanks Amazon and Tewtross for your amazing services.

I was looking for Car Bluetooth / Hands-free calling device for my my Santro (2011 model). I was specific for bluetooth with FM transmitter so as to avoid any wiring inside my car. After reading lot of reviews of different products I concluded to buy this product . I using this product since last 5 days and I am totally satisfied with performance.Pros :1) Easy to install2) Easily connects to Phone via Bluetooth3) Easy to set desired FM frequency (please see FM frequencies in your city / town and keep your frequency different than which are available in your area.) This will help you to have clear transmission in between device and your Car Radio receiver without any interruptions.4) It also works well with Aux cable (from Device to Aux-in radio)5) SD Card slot to play songs6) Shows Car battery Voltage at the startup.7) Displays numbers of incoming calls.8) Voice calling is really good9) Adjustment allows you place device at desired location. Quality is OK10) Buttons placed on the device are of good quality.Cons :1) Insertion in 12V cigarette socket was really Hard. Company needs to work on this.2) In Voice calling very few times , opposite person could not hear you . . eg. last word in sentence but this may be network issue ( as currently idea network in Pune has lot of such issues )3) Packing received was not in good condition (same feedback has been provided to seller)Overall, I would recommend this device as its value for money!!!
