These small-sized N20 Micro Metal Gear Motors produce a very strong torque while moving at a relatively fast speed under load. This makes them perfect for use in a wheeled robot, as they offer a great compromise between torque and speed. These small footprint motors measure about an inch long. This strong motor has an all-metal gearbox with an impressive 100:1 reduction ratio. It turns at a moderate pace but has a huge amount of torque, perfect for wheeled robots powered by Arduino and Raspberry Pi. It is rated to produce more than 24 ounce-inches of torque at 6V when stalled. Remember that stalling or overloading gear motors decrease their lifetimes and can even result in immediate damage. We recommend keeping loads under the instantaneous torque limit of 5 oz⋅in (0.35 kg⋅cm). As a rule of thumb, for proper operation of brushed DC motors, loads should be kept at 25% or less of the stall current. Features: Operating Voltage: 6VDC Reduction Ratio: 100:1 Speed: 150RPM No-load Current: 40mA Torque: 5 oz⋅in (0.35 kg⋅cm) Stall current: 550mA For useful guides on getting you going with this product visit: http://learn.acrobotic.com/tutorials and https://youtube.com/acrobotic
