The Ratchets I Grab First, I now Have 3 sets of these Ratchets - One Set for Truck, Home & Tool box.
When you grab the Tool's You Think You Need and Come to figure out the nuts/bolt is in a obstructed area, You Will Be Glad you Grabbed these Swivel Head Ratchets First. With these Ratchets you can Swivel around a Obstacle -While Also Providing Downward Force on the Ratchet to keep it on the bolt/nut.These Ratchets also work as a Nut driver, this way you can spin the nut on as if it is a screw driver until it bottoms out and then Swivel the ratchet and give it the final tightening/torque the nut needs.90% of the time these Ratchets are the only one's i need to do the Job, there are a few circumstances when I need a longer/shorter handled ratchet or an extension and a universal joint to get the job done but as i stated when you grab these ratchets first they can get around an obstacle while also allowing you to push downward on the nut/bolt to hold it in place, something that many flex head ratchets will not do (there are exceptions).Give these a Try and you will also see you will grab these first just for the Convenience of having Multi angled head ratchet when you need to Get Just The Right Angle to Remove/Tighten a Nut/Bolt while also able to apply downward pressure to the part your working on..TEKTON is also one of the Friendliest and Easiest to Work With when it comes to a Issue with a Tool, Shout out to Taylor & Colin at TEKTON and also a shout out to the Customer Service agent that answers the Phone (Sorry i do not remember Her Name right off but she is also very helpful and nice)Again i have Pictures but for the Last Year or Two Amazon has not let me Upload Pictures to my Reviews, Keeps Stating This - "Hmm, that didn't work. Click the thumbnail to retry." and i do and even changed the format & size of Picture but to no avail .

great tool - came in very handy!
had some automotive repairs I needed to get done (teaching myself to fix everything that goes wrong and do the work myself!) thanks to the internet got some pointers on a repair upcoming that having a swiveling head ratchet would be a huge help.having already purchased multiple tekton socket sets and a small ratchet - checked out reviews of this one and took a chance! used it multiple times getting to and changing out the alternator in our car - the swivel head made it easier/less obnoxious to get to a few areas that would have been a HUGE hassle/near impossible to get to with any sort of regular ratchet.glad we bought it and its added to our tool collection!update: used this a few times now and noticed the ratcheting mechanism seems a bit tight - it was great for getting in at awkward angles and once able to break a bolt found that for loosening the bolt it would just spin back and forth and not actually click through the teeth... causing me to have to remove the socket, reach in and handloosen most bolts which got obnoxious - but thankfully was able to loosen the bolts in the first place which i could not have done easily with a regular ratchet.pulled the wrench out of our toolbox to help my brother work on his van and noticed that the head of the tool had rusted slightly - so shot an e-mail to tekton late sunday night (1AM or so) on 12/6 by the time I woke up monday morning on 12/7 had an e-mail response from customer support - was made aware that this particular ratchet is tight - however he would get a new item in the mail for me that should help me out in the same situation - no questions asked. went by our new house we purchased this week that we've been doing work at (and our new mailing address) and this morning 12/9 the new stubby ratchet (5") was waiting on our doorstep... not even 3 full days from initial contact to customer support. can say I was a bit shocked by that in this day and age. I began buying tekton tools last year after reading all the positive customer service reports from buyers that they do seem to stand by their tools even if quality isn't always best. glad to see they lived up to those expectations when a problem rose up and went above and beyond.if I could add an extra half star on for customer service I would.

Great tool. My new go to 3/8 drive.
Useful as all can be. The swivel allows to clear obstructions with ease, but also to swivel to full vertical for screwdriver-like function, which I used to do with my breaker bar - which of course does not ratchet. I have a few from Tekton now over the years and like them. Good quality.

One of my best
The versatility of this ratchet wrench is awesome. Highly recommend it to any mechanic out there. Hopefully there is a version with longer handle. I love it.

about what expected.....
I read the reviews so I was hoping it would surprise me but the item is what you see and to look at it, the looks are good. The racheting part is tighter then I would like. so once the nut is loose one will have to spin it off. I held some that are smoother in their function, but I paid the cheaper price cause it will serve its purpose I am sure.Am thinking in tight spots the plastic handle will become an issue where their is minimal clearance. I hope the plastic handle in the future won't become a slipping factor. For general purpose this will be fine...

Very nice set of ratchets.
It's rare that I give anything 5 star, but I've had these for a good while now and they're just perfect. I haven't been able to find any flaws so far using them as my main ratchets. About the only thing I haven't done was put a cheater bar on one, because obviously you're just asking to break anything with a swivel joint when you put that much extra force on it.If you're looking for a set of swivel ratchets, you will not be disappointed in these.

Eight YR review
Bought this set in 2016. Now I will preface this review by saying that I do not use these everyday or anything, but I have little doubt they they would perform just as well, if I did. These wrenches have been great! Easily some of the finest tools that I own and I have used some of the best.
