Med Math Simplified: Dosing Math Tricks for Students, Nurses, and Paramedics 1st Edition

I got this because I had been accepted into a nursing program and wanted to get a jump start on some skills. I found it really confusing at first. It wasn't until after we learned a bit in class that it all kicked in and I could understand what it was teaching, then it was really helpful. I think this may be best for someone who's struggling with learning Med Math or who wants to learn ways of making it easier in general, rather than a newbie who has never studied the subject at all.

Kindle isn't great. The images of equations are too small to read. I got the digital format to read on the go without having another book to carry. It's all but unusable on a small screen meaning I still can't easily study on my commute.Other than that the book is great. Guess I'll have to buy the paperback as well.

As an ED Nurse I found this book very helpful in my everyday business of medication administration. Jamie really makes it easy to understand and writes in a way that sticks in your head. I have gone back to his equations in my head a million times while preparing medications. I believe every Nursing student or new Nurse should have a copy of this.

Very basic but helps a lot i. Determining the correct medication dosage. Informative with a lot of resources to take if you need more practice. Just continue practicing til you get it.

I bought this book to help me prepare for the NYS Critical Care EMT course coming up this August. It's a great little resource and has helped me tremendously so far. Like it's title, it is to the point and simple, all you need is a basic math background. I now feel confident in my dosage calculations, conversions and equivalents. Thanks!

I am great at writing but terrible at math. It was the hardest part of paramedic school. The only books out there made even simple math look like Greek. As this is a downloadable e-book, it is a quick reference on any electronic device. Thank you, Jamie Davis. You will make a lot of students and professionals very happy!

I am a paramedic student and I struggle with math so very badly. I've read this book so many times and the math is starting to make more and more sense. I'm slowly starting the calculation into my head now.

it is okay not what i was expecting. The very purpose of buying this was to practice right out of the book not to go back to the websites to practice.

Not what I expected and no help at all, a complete waste of money.
