Bass Brushes Large Wood Comb, 1 EA

When my wife and I switched from plastic to bamboo, we both were finally able to grow our hair longer than ever before (no kidding!) My hair is thick, coarse and curly; my wife's is fine, thick and straight. I will NEVER go back to plastic, This is my third comb from this company - I get a new one every 3-4 years. I also use a bamboo bristled brush from this company - same great results. Really, you should switch; especially if you want to grow your hair. I can't explain why (except how toxic plastic is?) but it works!

The look of this comb is beautiful and I really wanted to like it however the size and shape of the teeth doesn’t make it work well. And there was a split that just caught hair. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this comb.

I love this comb! It sounds terrible but I have never used a wide tooth comb. I'm trying to give my hair some extra love and I recently bought a wooden brush. I decided to take it a step further and purchase this for when my hair is wet. I have experience no breakage while using this, and I only shed maybe two or three hairs when I use this. Other brushes I was losing about 20 each brushing. Wonderful comb.

it feels like some kinda poly-fake-wood. Maybe thats the coating? IDK. Its a nice comb and I do like it. Its also really pretty! Super light-weight. Does feel good in the hand and goes through my super fine long hair pretty well. Slightly better than regular plastic combs with regard to making my hair static-y. I.e I still get some static but not like I do with cheap plastic combs.

I like the concept of the product, but it does not work very well. It pulls hair and does not separate long/thick hair for coming effectively. I’m still using my plastic one that I bought six years ago, which I tried to replace with this one because it had broken in half. The half plastic one still functions better.

Looked for a long time for a good comb for conditioning my hair in the shower. The bamboo makes it silky going through my hair and it doesn't get gross when it's wet. The wide tooth is good for detangling and the small tooth is perfect for a final comb through to get all the loose hair out.

This comb is amazing! It’s my first bamboo wide tooth comb! Ive bought plastic ones in the past that I have to yank through my hair which hurts and has broken the teeth. This comb is so painless and get my hair de tangled fast! I’ve also bought the bamboo brush from the Bass Brand!

My dog likes to eat my combs whenever, wherever he can get them. He has gotten better, however, I hate throwing plastic into the landfill. Unfortunately, I cannot use it as a functional comb. The teeth are too far apart to comb my wet or dry hair. It’s a beautiful something to lay on a dressing table for someone who pretends to care about the environment. But if you are a hippie dressing as an acceptable American executive this comb, won’t help
