Good Quality Calligraphy Paper for experienced beginners to experts
I like the feel, texture, size, creamy color and thickness of this paper. It takes a variety of ink types, from dip to Pilot Parallel Pen ink. I rarely get any bleed through or feathering using a variety of pens and ink. When using this for practice I often can use both sides, it's that thick. Another reviewer termed this "thin paper", I totally disagree with that, finding it to be a great weight, good enough for making cards or other creative endeavors. Depending on pen and ink occasionally there can be some scratching of the nib on the paper, I've seen that most using a dip pen. My only quibble with this paper is the way it's bound into the pad, I wish it were spiral bound. When you remove a piece it is difficult to get a nice straight edge on the top. As practice paper I like this much more than the spiral bound Rhodia paper, which costs much more for a smaller sheet, although it does have lines and dots to help letter consistency. I like the Strathmore size much more than the quite small Rhodia. As I get further into learning Calligraphy, and term myself an intermediate, I find I don't need to depend on dots and lines. I'm now able to write a straight line as long as I'm sitting in good position (I do still need to work on consistent letter size). If I'm really trying to keep all my letters consistent in size and in a very straight line it's easy enough to draw some lines on it. All in all, for the price, I'm very satisfied with this paper.

Smoothness
The ink goes onto the paper like butter. This isn’t a beginner calligraphy paper. If you use too much ink on your tip it will bleed through to the next sheet. This is a good paper for someone who has done calligraphy for a while.

Great for hand calligraphy work or even printing from the computer!
This is my go to type of calligraphy paper for hand or computer printing of homemade cards for family and friends. I just wish they had them in the variety of colors like before. That is a pad with blue, pink and beige pages. Maybe it's still out there and I am missing it! Still love this brand, though, and so glad to be able to get it through Amazon.

PRICE DOUBLED? WHAT'S UP AMAZON?
I bought a couple of these pads less than a month ago and now the price is twice what I paid. I don't get this at all. No way this is worth $12. It IS great paper. Great for fountain pens and any type of ink. Has just a little bit of tooth and a good neutral color. It handles erasing well too. Still not worth $12.

Interesting thin textured calligraphy paper with very little feathering and bleed through.
This is is an interesting paper for the price. I will be using this paper to send letters to friends. I'm currently using a Zeebra G Nib with Deleter Manga ink. This isn't an ideal calligraphy setup but it works for my purposes of practicing using a dip pen more for creating art. I'm really impressed by the thinness of this paper. I also like the cream color. So far, feathering and bleed through have not been a problem. Others reviews have mentioned the texture of this paper as being a drawback. This paper does have a texture but in my opinion this isn't a drawback. This paper can work remarkably well with the correct nib, ink, and writing table. I view this paper as an intermediate calligraphy paper as it is missing lines and may prove difficult for a beginner to use who hasn't found the correct writing materials that work for them. More advanced users will expect a smoother writing surface. In conclusion, I believe this paper fills a useful niche in the calligraphy paper lineup. It's a wonderful everyday paper for for letter writing. It may be too difficult for beginners to use and not quite good enough for advanced users, but it has found a place in my paper collection as an every day correspondence paper.

Works great with Tombow markers
Works great with either end of Tombow dual tip markers. Clear color, no bleed through. Love the soft cotton texture. And the creamy white makes every mark jump off the page. I wish I could find this paper in 28x24.

Great Paper for Pigments - even Sheens!
I've been practicing with this paper for a while and it's actually really nice for the price. It is smooth to write with and it works with many different forms of media... What's really neat though is that for inks and watercolor, it keeps the pigment on top of it. Little to no bleedthrough. I can really do a lot with that feature, though it takes a while for it to dry, and my inks sheen very consistently (even the ones that I didn't think could sheen!)
