The story is immersive!
I bought this book for my students. We have tons of books but I wanted a good story book that’ll hold their attention. They’re ages 11/2-2 years old. I go into character when the line calls for it. They love it! I just wished it was available in a bigger size. But this will do for now.

Bright Stanley: A Bright Little Story
The original title of this book is Bright Stanley. The story has lively illustrations and simple writing. The discovery element of the story would be appealing for read-alound or read-along (details in former pages give clues to what is about to happen). The plot is not complicated, and has a quick, easy ending (Stanley finds his missing friends! The End!), but I enjoyed the positive action and would enjoy sharing this with a very young reader.

My Son's Favorite Book
This is my Son's favorite book, and my Husband's favorite book to read to him. Lots of room for fun voices, and dramatic reading. I highly recommend it!!!!

Ordered this book twice and had to return them because they were obviously used or damaged.

Beware the Price!
For a book written 13 years ago we were expecting a hardback book of some length for over $18. Unfortunately we were very much surprised and disappointed to get a 32 page paperback on the order of the Berenstein Bears variety which sells in the $3 range. Because this is our grandson's favorite book we will not be returning it but something is definitely wrong with this picture.

My daughter loved this book. I am so glad that I was able to even find it. The local bookstores did not carry it.
