Simple and effective
I thought I'd try this corkscrew in place of a winged version that broke. Although inexpensive and simple in design I've found it to be very effective for both cork and plastic stoppers. You just need to firmly push the start of the screw in to ensure smooth operation.

This is an excellent bottle opener, very easy to use.

So far so good!
Works well to pull out corks but…….. difficult to get cork off once out of bottle. Can be done, but previous, more expensive versions accommodate release better.

Very simple but very effective. Makes taking the cork out very easy but make sure you get in the centre.
