I’m someone who needs just one water bottle to that is big enough to have my days intact og water but because of its huge size I would leave it everywhere until I lost it so this bottle was the right idea not only is it 2.2L it has a handbag style to carry so I have no excuse to leave or forget my bottle.Product wise: it was easy to clean in a sense of putting soap and water and bake it about idk about stains inside that’ll need cleaning because of its shape but it can be high pressured sprayed I guess.It didn’t have any taste when I first tried it I always 24hr soak my bottles before using anyway so any taste would have been gone.

After much research of the wide choice of large drink bottles suitable for gym use, I went for this lower end priced Hydrate XL bottle in black, based on customer reviews. So far I have been very happy with my purchase. The bottle feels robust, and I have had no leakage issues, so long as I click the flip top cap firmly in place. The carry strap is handy, as an alternative to holding it by the moulded handle. I wash with warm soapy water which seems to do the job. I imagine the bottle could crack if dropped onto a hard surface when full, so it is just about being careful when handling. It’s had plenty home and gym use to date, with no issues, and looks as good as new

This bottle is made of strong plastic that doesn’t bend when you grip it. The all-in-one handle makes it easy for carrying. The flip lid at the top for drinking from is certainly easy to flip - you could hold and operate this bottle with one hand.Whilst it didn’t leak when I turned it upside down, my concern is how easy the flip top comes away. If I’m transporting this in the car, it would be very easy for the bottle to leak if the flip top got caught on anything so personally, I don’t think it’s a good bottle to have for travelling. It really needs some kind of clip to hold the flip top down but since it doesn’t have this, I’m not so confident at transporting it around.No doubt if you knocked it over and the flip top was properly in, it would probably not leak whilst laying on it’s side, but should anything catch the lip of that flip top and then all your liquid would be pouring out.I purchased this for travelling purposes and although it holds a decent amount of fluid, I don’t trust that flip top so always travel with it in it’s box.
