I have been using the little bag clips for my 30 lb Taste of the Wild dog food, that you buy for chips. Wasn't working at all. I just got this clip and it is exactly as described. I have a weak grip, so I was concerned I wouldn't be able to close it all the way. No problem for me. I have had to throw away a third full bag of dog food, as it would get stale and my Bella wouldn't eat it. I believe this will allow the whole bag of dog food to be used up. This will be saving me money on dog food.UPDATE:I’ve been using this clip for 8 months now. It still works great. I open/close twice a day, when feeding Bella. She now eats all of the 30 lb bag of dog food, right down to the last nugget. As mentioned before I have a weak grip, but have had no problem using this clip. Thanks for the great product.

Awesome. I have used this for 30 lb bags of dog food for over a year now. No issues opening or closing this bag clip. I live in a dry climate, so the seal is important in that the dog food can retain its moisture content. No problem, very easy to use. Also gives the dog food a handle, making transporting the bag even simpler.

We've had this product now for 2-1/2 years. It helps to keep large bags of dry dog food fresh. There are two minor (not show stopper) issues to be aware of. First, some may find it difficult to lock the clamp. I have no issue, but my wife sometimes stuggles to lock the clamp. Second, the clamp does bow out (warp) over time. So, the quality of the seal degrades over time. We're still using the original part, but it appears to have a limited life span. For the price, it would be good to see less warping.

The media could not be loaded. I love this clip. I started buying bigger bags of food for my dog. Instead of getting another Vittles Vault, I decided to try this in tandem with my smaller Vittles Vault.It is heavy duty, and creates a tight seal. When closing the clip, you have to click it past multiple notches, and it takes a fair amount of strength to fully close. I have to use both hands to close it. This is definitely not a product for weak or arthritic hands. (see video)With the handle I can easily lift 30 lbs of dog food with one hand, and I am not a very strong person. Once the clip is on the bag, it does not budge. I do have to fold down the corner of the dog food for it to fully cover the opening. So it would be nice if it the clip was a big longer. But that's a minor problem.I use the clip to store excess food in the bag, and pour food into a small Vittles Vault bi-weekly. The handle makes it SO much easier to pour. I don't feel like I'm going to spill a ton of dog food all over the floor. It really is fantastic.This clip appears to keep the bag fully sealed and the food fresh. I haven't had any complaints from my dog. 😉I'm definitely going to buy more of these clips for other bags that we buy in bulk. Do not use this as much as I thought I would. It does hold on heavy bags but you have to double the bag sides and top to get it so that the clip can fit.

This is a well made, heavy duty product! It easily holds and seals a 40lb. bag of dog food. I would recommend it for anything from mulch and soil to charcoal and dog food - anything you want to seal or carry easily. Doesn't tear the bag. Easy to lock and unlock, but depending on how bulky the bag is, it can take a little bit of hand strength to snap it shut for a really tight seal. Really useful and reliable product!

I hope I’m not the only one that scared myself the first time I used the clip. It is LOUD when it clicks down.. my skittish dog even vacated the room. However, being able to add a handle to the giant bag of dog food is a blessing, and that alone was worth the purchase. It’s easy to take off and put on, and it gets a nice strong grip with a couple easy clicks. I’m not certain about “airtight” but it definitely gets snuggly clamped.
