Women's Sabina Thong Sandal

I've bought about a dozen of these comfortable and flattering sandals. I try to keep a couple of pair in reserve in case they're discontinued (Please, NO!). When I lived in NYC I walked for miles in them. They look great with skirts and slacks - the camel color is the nude look that everyone seems to want in footwear right now. The only downside is that they show wear very quickly because the insole is made of leather - but that, I suppose, is why they're so darn comfortable.

I had this sandal in black for several years and have always wanted more - finally thought to check Amazon! Well, there are very few colors left now but that's the way it goes, you snooze, you lose. My old black ones are NOT wearing out though; these are some tough little thongs.They are SO comfy and the strap is long enough and wide enough - too many thongs have a tight little strap on top that cuts into the top of my foot. These fit perfectly on my fat little feeties.They are dressy enough to wear to garden parties and summer concerts, good with little dresses, dockers, jeans and slacks.PLEASE, Lia Bijou! Make MORE! I need all the colors!!

I have been purchasing these Lia Bijou Sandals for more than 20 years. I must have 8 pairs right now. The originals were carried at Nordstroms and had a solid leather sole. I still have a raspberry colored pair I bought in 2001 . I don't think Lia Bijou makes these any more as I never find them in stores. These may be left overs, or Lia Bijou decided to only put this style on-line. The straps do not fit as tight on my feet as they used to but the soles are slightly elevated by the heel and I love that. very comfortable. I will keep buying these because they are so comfortable. But they are not the same as they used to be. They last several seasons and because I'm here in So Cal, that means I wear them year round. But they don't last as long as they used to. Hey LIA bring these back with the leather soles.

I bought this same style sandal about seven years ago at Nordstrom and wore them almost everyday until recently when they fell apart! I was so excited to see that Amazon carried them I ordered a pair and a spare! I like the slight heel and the toe of the sandal, like some others, does not need to be broken in before you wear them. The one difference between this pair and my original pair is the insole of this shoe is a padded material which I do not like as well as the original design which was a hard leather. They do tend to run small so I would suggest a size up from what you usually wear.

at first when I got them I thought they were great. They fit well, and are comfortable. But after a few weeks of wearing them the yellow sole bit your foot rests on started to crack and wear off. As I live in Australia, it's not worth the shipping to post them back. I simply won't buy any more.

I have been wearing this sandal on a daily basis for well over 20 years. When they are available I buy and stockpile them for future use. I know my size. They are always perfect. Today I pulled out these purchased in Feb.for wear on vacation and I am shocked to find out that the straps are looser than my old ones. My foot slides around in the sandal making them unwearable for long walking. Did they change the manufacturer? Beware!I guess I can consider my self lucky that my last order got lost in the mail and I got a refund.

After many years of Lia Bijou being unavailable I was thrilled to find them on Amazon – and that lasted right up to the point of unboxing.I normally wear a size 6 in Lia Bi Jou and was thrilled when I found both ‘my’ size and multiple colors to choose from.These are/were not only way to big and the quality horrible, but they weren’t even close to the color, texture, style or sole/footbed cushioning and support that a real Lia Bijou ‘would’ have.If you’ve purchased and loved Lia Bijou (previously carried by Nordstrom and a few other high-end stores) shoes/sandals then please don’t buy these with the expectation or hope that they are the same item.They aren’t.Happy to answer any questions.Mostly sad and disappointed that these aren’t the real thing.

I have been purchasing these for years and have had them in many colors. I absolutely love them, however the I prefer the leather sole they used to have. These are padded and yes comfortable but do not last very long. The last pair I purchased lasted less than a year. I have two pairs that I purchased about 12 years ago with the leather sole and I still wear them today. Would love to find them in the original leather.
