Easy to setup on my camera and easy to working
Remote Bluetooth do not working, but this IR remote working good on Sony A7 iii. This remote do not have on/off button. That meaning you need keep original plastic battery to save battery when you put it in cabinet. After all it is good and easier to install and use than any remote currently sold on amazon

Great little remote for the price
This is a great little point and shoot type of remote, no fuss no muss. Setup takes a couple minutes and you’re on your way. However, this has to be pointed right at the area of the shutter for it to work, so it’s a little awkward when you are trying to do any kind of self photography. I managed to get a good portrait but it took some work because of that issue. It’s still a good little remote shutter in a pinch though, and for the price you can’t beat it!

Works great with my Sony A6300 Camera
I purchased my Sony A6300 to start a food blog with my wife. When the camera is on a tripod and I am doing a shoot, sometimes the camera is in an awkward position and hard to push the button on the camera. After reading all the reviews, I took a chance on the FotoTech wireless remote. I was surprised at how small and light it was. I started to use it after the setup and have been very pleased with the results. Over the Christmas and New Years break, I used it to take family pictures. I was extremely happy again. The remote worked great for the family picture. It also has a button on the remote for a 2 second timer. Wow, my family was impressed. I would recommend this wireless remote to anyone with a Sony camera.Setup: I thought the setup would be complicated, but it was was very simple. All you have to do is go into the menu of your Sony A6300 and go to the last icon and go down and turn the remote to on. I thought there would be more, but all you have to do now is push the remote button.Summary: I would recommend this remote.Pros:1. Easy setup.2. Small and light.3. 2 second timer button.Cons:1. The remote will only work from the front of the camera. It will not work on the side or back.

Good enough for most people
Look, for 12 bucks this things awesome. Would I buy this if all I did was Astro or slow shutter photos on a tripod? No. But for the few times a year I need to not be hitting the shutter on the camera to reduce shake or take a selfie off a tripod, this things perfect. It’s durable enough, connects super quickly with my A7RIV, and while others have said range isn’t good, from the front it works 20 feet away and from the back 5, which is more than enough. Also if you lose it or break it - well, it was 12 bucks. Rather have the ability to bash on this and replace it than buy the 80 dollar Sony one. Recommend to almost everyone unless your a true pro.

Ehh
It works with my A7 RII and that's about all I can say about it that's good. Well, it's cheap! The battery tray is junk. Two minutes after opening it I put it in upside down and nearly had to destroy it to get it back out. Even if you put it in the right way it's a pain to get out.The entire thing is thin, but I wouldn't call it small. It's about as wide and much longer than the keyfob to my truck. But about twice as thin. It is light, I actually forget I have it in my pocket sometimes. It seems like it could easily be smaller, but still it will easily find a space inside any camera bag pocket. The other strange thing about the size is it doesn't really fit in the pouch it comes with. It sticks out of it and then you can't close the pouch. It makes the pouch awkward and useless.Overall, it works and it's not expensive. It's just a little goofy how the battery tray works, the size/design of it, and why they even bothered including the pouch.

Simple and functional
I wanted a simple remote to control the shutter on my NEX 5T and this been working wonderfully. I didn't need all the functionality of the Sony remote and wasn't willing to pay $25 when there were options like this that offered everything I needed for much less. The remote is simple and of reasonable quality. It came with a button battery with a plastic strip installed to remove before first use. It has two buttons, one for an instant shot and one for a two second timer. I only needed the instant shutter but found the two second timer great for giving me time to hide the remote before the camera snapped the picture. So far I have only used it from about 15-20 feet without any issues. I have also had success using it from about 1-2 feet behind the camera as well as from the sides.Overall I really like this remote and found the price reasonable. It comes with a little soft pouch branded with Foto&Tech and is very small for travel or leaving in a shirt pocket. This remote is also great if you're doing long exposures and don't want to use the camera shutter button to avoid movement. It's simple, functional, fair priced, and easy to recommend.
