4K HDMI Wireless Display Dongle - WIFI HDMI Adapter Connector Support Airplay DLNA Miracast for IOS Android/Windows/Mac

This works very well, I have tested it with an iPhone, MacBook and Windows laptop all working perfectly. With the iPhone, it works very well using AirPlay sharing the whole screen with very little lag, the resolution is good and any videos played look very nice. My girlfriend uses it for exercise videos from the "fiit" app and it works perfectly. The MacBook works very well using AirPlay with the opportunity to mirror the screen or use as a second screen. The lag is acceptable and the resolution is good. Finally, the windows laptop uses the mirascreen app which allows you to mirror the screen and this works very well.All in all, I'm very impressed with this little bit of kit. It turns on with the tv as I've powered it from a USB port on the tv so its not always on which is also nice. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Firstly, it doesn’t work. I could only mirror my phone but I wasn’t able to play any videos or music via AirPlay. The installation process isn’t easy either, the app is also not good and it takes ages to connect the device and after many failed attempts. From my testing I would say DO NOT BUY. I cannot believe it’s a product marked by Amazon as ‘Amazon Choice’Note: I have only tested in Apple environment (iOS and macOS)

Never thought I would join the few who "don't like" this product. I try not to leave bad reviews until tested over period of time but this item was, frankly, back to Amazon within 24 hours. The cons: Useless leaflet with awful set up instructions you can hardly read anyway without a magnifying glass. Incomprehensible. The item, once connected using Airplay with iPhone to LG TV, then smaller Samsung TV and HP monitor just goes back, intermittently (most videos lasted about 5 mins max.) , to the setup screen and the whole process of setting up starts again. It works, to be fair, to mirror your phone's photos but videos - forget it. The video, when it does work (e.g. YouTube) is grainy and jerky. The dongle resembles a squid (I thought of this because just prepared and cooked one). IE tentacles and body with more "entrails" hanging out of the several HDMI and USB ports tested. Compared to a Microsoft Display Adapter (again as an example only) there is just too many, plasticy, "dangly" cables with the wireless "box" hanging on the end of one cable . The iOS app is useless and does not help you set up properly at all. Pros: In its favour, as alluded to, it probably is perfectly ok for just mirroring your phone's images and screens so really video playback is the bugbear. I am going to search for another one that works. At the moment, something I was trying to avoid, I am going back to using my Chromecast and Windows DisplayAdapter-45 separately and as required (i.e. iOS or Windows) meaning carrying around two dongles but at least the latter one is instant and works perfectly whilst dangling "discreetly" without the "spaghetti" of cabling etc as mentioned. Very disappointed.

Purchased this as it said 4k, well this is not a 4k output, it is more like 1080p. Easy to cast to it using android phone, but the supplied app is useless and it's easier to direct cast using the Android mirror screen function, or for early android install the app Allconnect from play store. I ended up sending this unit back and purchasing a different model mirrorscreen(K9) Which does seem to be 4k.

Installed quickly enough. Poorly written but comprehensible manual in tiny writingSimple mirroring of iPhone to screen was quick and looked greatBut when we ran videos, YouTube or live site it froze constantly. One video was counting down to the start of an event and would work fine for 15 seconds then freeze for five and then go to live count. Did this over and over. Picture on iPhone remained perfect and both our home WiFi and broadband are excellentShows how Steve Jobs made his money - consumer electronics must be as perfect as a light switch.This was not fit to release to market or sell in the UK

This dongle worked initially. For a month or was fine. Then it suddenly stopped working, so I'm not happy and am sending it back for a refund.Initially I gave it it 4 stars because the sound and picture were crackly now and then. But after a month, never mind bad reception, there was no reception.edit: I discovered that my phone has a sneaky habit of spontaneously un-ticking its hard-to-find "allow casting" box every now and then, which probably accounts for the some issues. But this dongle is no contrition for the old Chrome cast I replaced it with.

I don’t have an Apple TV but always liked the idea of copying my phone screen to the tv. This is what this offered.You have to connect to the device through your phone and then use your phone internet to work it but once it was set up it works pretty good. Overall I have been pleased.It does come with a power wire. It looks similar to a chrome cast.It does stream YouTube easily.You will need to download an app called EZMIRA.

The problem was not the adapter, but two out of three of my TVs, which although they have an HDMI socket do no have the correct technology. Not to be beaten I then connected the adapter to my newest TV, downloaded the appropriate app for my respective Samsung Tablet and mobile and connection was achieved. I can now use the TV to maximum effect.
