One of the applications I wrote to manage my network writes a ton of temp files to the hard drive. I first looked to see if I could create a RAMDisk on Windows 11. No via Microsoft, yes via a 3rd party product. That didn't work for me so I considered a USB drive but they stuck out so far I couldn't leave it plugged in all the time. I bought the 32GB unit, I could have used the 16GB drive. I don't need room. It's fast and it can stay plugged in with no issues. Cheaper than another SDD and if it lasts good, if not they are cheap. It works fine for my application.

This little USB drive works well with the radios in my truck and my Jeep. I use it to store my "mega-mix" of MP3s for long distance trips. The radio syncs up with it very fast and has no issues playing.The small design keeps it out of the way and in the case of my Jeep means I can close the lockable lid of my center console where my radio lives.

Alas, what I received was a tech tragedy in miniature.Upon first use, it bravely entered the USB port like a knight charging into battle… only to immediately eject its own armor. The casing came off like it had a personal vendetta against structural integrity. I was suddenly performing emergency surgery on a microchip with the precision of a NASA engineer and the panic of someone whose tax returns were just on that drive.Sure, it technically worked for 3.5 glorious seconds—long enough to transfer one photo and a deep sense of regret. But now, it's just a collection of tiny plastic shards and shattered expectations.Bonus twist: Return window closed, and my warranty expired faster than the product itself. A true collector’s item—for anyone collecting disappointment.Five stars for comedic value. Zero stars for literally anything else.

Tricky to review. As far as a compact thumb drive the speed and function are great. My critique comes with how I personally wanted to use it. I thought this would be great to use in my car. I put music on it and was planning on plugging it into the USB jack in the car. It went in great. Connected to the car great, BUT, when I went to remove it, that was a struggle. The unit is definitely compact. I found the top plastic hard to grasp when trying to remove. It was smooth, not really slick, just smooth so grasping with thumb and finger was difficult. When using it with a laptop it was also a little bit of a challenge to get out. I wanted something that was compact because I am always concerned that the longer "stick" thumb drives will get hit and bend while they are inserted. There was absolutely NO concern with this thumb drive. In summary, NO issues with functionality as a thumb drive, just did not work for the specific application I needed it for. (I kept it and still use it, but am cautious what port it goes into.)

This is perfect for low profile installations such as on my very-thin laptop computer. I keep a few of these installed as the laptop has a pitifully low RAM [about 64G] and these give me room to expand data and files. Data speed is impressive. I just ordered another one.

Got this for music for my RAM Turbo Diesel Truck. Works well with the uConnect system. No more using VLC Player on my cell phone.
